yeah, what they said, I took the front window out, and the J-rail off the side and was able to pull the skin back and get to the big screws and removed it, re-stained it and put it back in without issue after I installed my new white walls.

Do NOT use luan, it has voids in it and will smash down over time, you want 1/4 inch sub flooring, it is solid.

a lot of the old campers have the ground from the light to the aluminum siding, and steel and aluminum dont get along, over time the screw that goes through the aluminum will corrode or rust making the ground not work. also make sure you have good clean screws from the aluminum siding to the frame. try running a jumper wire from the lights ground wire to the frame to see if this is an issue.
I rewired all my lights (switched out to LED) and ran an actual ground wire to the frame for every light so I dont have the older issue.

yeah, I'm over the mad, now working on a plan, I put it for sale of a facebook yardsale page, got someone coming to look at it this morning, gonna loose a little on it, then buy another, probably not going to loose any more than the door would cost after buying it and shipping it. If I could even find one, so far no luck. Yeah, my daughter married an idiot. and the grandkids aren't being raised the way they need to be, we get them about every other weekend and work on them to try and negate the bad influences they are around and the lack of rules and proper courtesies. they show up dirty and hungry most of the time. really sad, and their mother is not going to take anyone's advise on how to raise HER children.

I did manage to maintain my composure, even when my daughters husband said he though it was like that when I delivered it, I calmly pulled out my phone and showed him a pic of it in their floor when I dropped it off. and that was exactly the reason I took a pic to begin with. I kind of new it was about to get destroyed, and I wanted picture proof it was in pristine shape when I dropped it off, they or the kids destroy everything they have.

well, here's the story, my daughters refrigerator went out about a month ago, and she ask if she could borrow my camper fridge, until they could save up and buy them another one, she has 3 kids, that are 8,7 and 2 1/2 years old, well I go to pic up my fridge, that was perfect and brand new, I never even plugged it in yet, (still trying to complete the camper?, and I find someone beat the snot out of the freezer door, a $265.00 fridge that looks like crap now. and of course her and her husband have no idea who done it or when it happened.

a lot of campers like Shasta's have the vin inside the frame rail in the front where it comes to a point kind of in the area where the hand crank is, inside the frame rail mine in on the street side frame rail (drivers side) probably rusted over.

well I made it to home depot, they had 2 boxes (about 80) of the crown bolt ones that are #15x7/8 in, and they also had another brand (Everbuilt) that are a different size, around they are #13x7/8 in.

yeah, these are worth exactly as much as a person is willing to pay, personally if I were looking I'm right with you, at around $800-$1000, however these are getting more popular, even I have seen a large increase in interest and price in the last 3 years or so. prices are going up, and there is a person somewhere willing to pay $1,500 for it.
price depends on 2 things
how much a person wants it
how quickly the seller wants to sell it.
