That's the next step.....figure out the seven-way wiring. I've done four-way (flat plug), but never seven. I just need to get my head wrapped around the layout of everything

I guess that is why I am asking for opinions. This is a 75 Scotty (and some would say borderline vintage), So it is not original. I love the look of the birch and add newer amenities. The brake lights that where on it just didn't seem to have the look I was going for and I had seen some older trailer with dual lights. The backup lights are a bit of a afterthought and I'm wondering how useful they might be. I know they would help for backing at night, but might they help during the day so people can see you are backing as well? Just a thought.

RinTin, I don't plan on driving at night much, but it does seem that we always end up getting home late. Or, we leave later than planed and arrive at our destination late. I thought backing into a spot might be easier with added light. On the other hand I like the safety factor of the dual break lights. Nccamper, this was a total rebuild from frame up. I brought the trailer in the garage with just the frame and built it up from there. From this angle it looks as if there is no way it will go back out the door, but it should (fingers crossed) I have about 2" of clearance as it sits. If I need more, I can reduce the tire pressure. Last resort, I will remove the tires and put small rollers on the axle drag it out.

I had planed on having duel brake/running/turn signal lights on each side on the back. But then, I noticed on trucks that they have one brake/running/turn light and one backup light on each side. I thought that might be handy to have bright backup lights. Thoughts.............. IMG_20170709_104617588 by KamHawk, on Flickr

What you can't see is that the cabinets under are 1/2" taller at the front edge than they are at the wall creating a 1/2" rise (arch) in the middle of the camper. Then I added the 1/4" birch ceiling panel, then the 3/4" rafter, then the 1/4" around the vent opening. In theory, that should give it 3/4" rise (arch) in the middle......Hope that explains it better. Thanks for all the response. Next question: Does anyone paint (with asphalt paint) around the vent opening?

Does anyone see a problem with adding a piece of 1/4" plywood on top of the ceiling panel and then laying the Styrofoam insulation on top of that to create a slope if you will away from the ceiling vent. My thoughts are that it will create a smooth transition for the metal. I have included photos to maybe help with my description. Congrats from one Scotty owner to the next. Framed a little different than most trailers. But, a fun project.

One of the reasons we decided to get a camper was to attend music festivals in a little more comfort than a tent (old age catching up to us). Looks like a great time.

I bolted that style of jacks on the front and am using scissor jacks on the back. Seams to work well in my shop. Still in the rebuilding phase and have not got to use them in the real world

Fortunately I have been working on the trailer for over 2 years and have friends that like to drink and watch me work. So, I've had some help with the cap collection.

Khanna,
My Scotty did not come with the table as well. It was a total rebuild, so I did as Kirkadie suggested, I measured the distance between the seats and the length, then created a cutout that was comfortable on the bathroom/closet side. I just posted a picture of my table in the General repair thread. Good Luck!
