Been working hard,
I have rebuilt doors for my other campers and always had to mess with them. I guess 3rd time is a charm. I was able to built the new frame, birch plywood and skin and it all went right back together with out much messing around like I did on the other ones. I guess practice makes perfect.
Been staining wood and getting everything ready to put the finishing coats one. Hope to have this thing buttoned up this weekend but you know about planning, it always changes.

I hope to be in that stage in a couple weeks. I dry fitted the metal back on to see how bad my math was. I didn’t have a lot to go by up front. It looks to be bad close.
You said you had to be done in 30 days. Did y’all sell?

Moving and don't want to take it with me. I am building this camper for my son.
Remember to dry fit the metal when it is really warm or heat the garage to 80+ degrees, you will be surprised how much expansion you will get.

Trust me, I’m hoping for expansion in a couple spots. It will be in the 80s here in the next few weeks. Hoping to have everything done at that stage. I need to up load pics but my laptop died and I haven’t replaced it yet. |

varathane water based poly and same brand stain.
Got the door and cargo doors put together.

one is carbon grey and other was white with some carbon grey mixed in. Don't remember the mix % but it was like 1 or 2 oz to a quart

Got the door mounted tonight. The door is square but my opening wasn't so I had to take some stuff apart to square the opening. Here is link to many pictures of the project.

Well the days are numbered. I got all the windows and doors on and the only thing I need to button up is the tail lights pull it out of the garage and put the roof vent on.
What is left to do,
front wiring from box to 7 pin, gas tank holder, gas, counter top, clean up wiring, water tank, grey water tank, plumbing, install axle, tires and let it roll. I am sure I will find 500 other items while doing the rest of this list.

I’m thinking about painting mine while it’s in the garage so I have a few more weeks. Working on insulation now and polishing and rebuilding the windows. Just ordered $180 worth of window gaskets and having some of the broken ones cut. Windows are time consuming. I need to post some pics but my lap top crashed. Literally fell off the counter and crashed. Lol |

Didn't get the camper out this weekend because of the rain.
But I do have one question.
How many times can you break the same window. I am having to get my 3 piece of glass now for the same window. First window I mounted wrong and then broke, second window I hit with the bench. Now lets see if the 3rd window will make it.
