I use photobucket... When I'm in photobucket looking at the picture I want to upload I left click on the link to the right of the picture that says "IMG" it should turn yellow and say "copied". Then come back to the forum here (don't use the quick reply). Make sure you click "Reply"...select the "BBCode" tab and paste your picture. This is what should appear when you "Paste" your image - I usually hit enter a couple of times between pictures and then you can insert again and again and again... Then if you tab back to "Preview" you should see your text AND images...Don't click "Create Post" till you're satisfied with everything. Don't shoot me if I confused you more...Good luck.

For most of my framing I used 1 5/8" screws everywhere... a couple of places a little longer 2" and some required a little shorter 1".

I used bondo on mine and sanded smooth with a belt sander then palm sander. I then glued down my sheet vinyl. It went down very smooth. No seams show at all...

I bought a 24" x 36" sheet of aluminum from Lowes for $19 and some change...it was pretty scratched up so I got the best one they had and decided to do a little "graining" to give it a brushed finish. This hid all the little scratches and will be much easier to maintain in the future.

Just using the metal chrome trim I removed...so good. I'll install the trim. That way I can finish the inside completely before moving to the exterior. Thank you so much...

I'm at the point in my re-build that I'm almost finished with the interior... Now the question I'm having, and maybe I'm overthinking this, is about the window trim. I'm wanting to finish trimming the interior before moving to the exterior but wondering if I need to have the windows installed before I put up the inside chrome window trim or if that really even matters? I've got a 65-66 Shasta and would hate to get all this inside trim work done only to find out the windows go in first...! What are your thoughts?

All the marker lights on my Shasta are a single + wire. Meaning the skin is the ground -. Attaching one wire (black -) to one of the light screws to skin should do the job.

Any updates on your install? I've purchased the same unit and I'm looking at how to retrofit it. My trailer is a mid 60's Shasta and the vent has 2 cranks opposite each other. The vent pops straight up instead of being hinged on one side...hope that makes sense? Any way I'm curious how much modifying you had to do and how it worked out.
Thanks-

Highrolla...still would love to see some close ups with a bit of a reflection.
One question... Did you sand between coats with the 600 , 1500 , etc. like in the corvair write up?
Gotta say that looks beautiful and I'm tempted because of my close proximity to neighbors.

Would you suggest using twisty nails or screws to attach the trim? I purchased trim that isn't pre-drilled...so I can drill any size hole. Just looking to see what is best to attach this trim?
