I am sourcing dinette table trim along with counter trim. I see what VTS is selling and wondered if anyone had any additional sources. I am looking for the polished "nosing" or "countertop molding". We are building both the table and counter so I am not fixed on a particular size yet.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

Thank you. It looks like the 12' piece (which we need) would run around $27.00 to ship to me. Doesn't seem too bad compared to other shipping services. And like NC, I'd like to know which finish you got. We're looking for a bit of shine to it not matte.
Thanks so much.

Also, the H&M product does not have pre-drilled fastener holes, which I like as I can then strategically place and space the holes where I want them. This piece is fastened with aluminum screw nails (twisty nails) placed at each end of the bend. With pre-drilled trim you can end up with a fastener in the middle of a bend which to me doesn't look good.

Has anyone bought this in person? I was about to order some from ACE hardware because they had it with free shipping to the store. But Im bummed they got rid of it(of course right before I was going to buy it) I would rather not pay an arm and leg for shipping.

Well I stopped by Ace today and the girl working had not heard of it, but she looked in the system for me and found it. Even though it is not on their website anymore, you can still can order it and have it shipped to the store for free. Size: 13/16"x1/4"x72" Aluminum Edge Counter Moulding Ace number:5605811 Its $14.99 so about the same $2.50 a foot as VTS but you dont have to buy the extra tube for shipping. The only downside is that it only comes in 6ft length

We went to the store where we got Hamlet's mar oleum flooring and retro linen style Formica. It was a mom and pop place, and not only did they have what we wanted, they provided something that most places can't provide these days... Service. We got pointers on installing all the surfaces and trim. When we fixed up our little house to rent for a few years, we did the same thing on the kitchen counters (pre WW2 house with linoleum countertops, very cool).

I'm trying to get some aluminum edging for that exact location as an end cap on my 3/4" plywood and can't tell if that is a "C" channel or not. Also how hard was this stuff to bend to your radius?

Glad to hear that worked out well. I've been looking at their mouldings and trying to figure out which ones to get. The free shipping to store makes this a no brainer in my opinion. Also, considering they have a wide selection of sizes and profiles is a plus too.

Would you suggest using twisty nails or screws to attach the trim? I purchased trim that isn't pre-drilled...so I can drill any size hole. Just looking to see what is best to attach this trim?
