Last night I went backwards. I took the floor patch up and painted it. I then went to Menards and picked up my floor tile. That was my evening. Because when you go into town, the wife always goes and then that means you drive miss daisy around as well.

Just to stay consistent I need to give an update. I went to the car show last night, say an old 54 Lincoln convertible that would perfect to pull the camper with other then that the car show has to many new cars in it. I mean stuff from 2000s. I guess I would rather have been working on the camper. But it was fun to talk with my friend.
I got home and my son was over so spent the rest of the night talking with him. I would rather be doing that then working on the camper.
I did get one thing done, I moved the painted floor board from outside to inside and placed in the spot is will be nailed down. We will see what happens tonight.

Another night and no progress. Sometimes other things come along and require your attention.

Now that I have one camper ready to go and camp in I decided to do that Friday night. I can tell you when it is 95 degrees outside it gets 95 inside no matter how many windows and fans you have running. It was fun sleeping in a convention oven.
It was in the 90s and high humility all weekend after that so stayed in the house with air conditioning and thought about the rebuild.

Got some work done last night. Got the curbside front corner taken apart and new one built. All in a couple hours. It helps to have practice on the other 3 corners first. I did cut my board backwards so I had to cut a new one. I can use that plywood for filler pieces around the windows, so not all is lost I hope. I also then took the front window frame off and hope tonight to start building a new one. I would like to close up the front end in the next couple days of work. But I think I will need to do some floor work first. I will have to do this when I can keep the garage door closed so I can jack the camper up and get underneath. In this picture you can see the curbside corner done as well as the front window frame take off. 20180618_202602 by Tom Ress, on Flickr

Got work done last night. The gas wasn't working in the 54 Shasta. I tracked it down to what I think was a bad regulator. The new one came in last night. Got that changed out and now I have gas again. I was able to get the front window frame built and some misc items cleaned up. Maybe tonight I can put the front wall on. 20180619_202808 by Tom Ress, on Flickr

Well, no updates on the camper since I decided to go camping with the other one. Did run into 2 issues with the other camper.
1. At 4 in the morning the Gas Detector went off. I must have another slow leak. Need to track that down. 2. I can't seem to get the fridg igniter to work anymore. So I can't run on gas. Will have to track that down.

Started getting the front end buttoned up last night. Need to pick up a new ash or oak board for the bottom front and cut it at a 22 degree angle or what ever the old one was. 20180625_201536 by Tom Ress, on Flickr

Got the front end all buttoned up last night. Now I need to work on the floor and then button up the back end. I also have lots of sanding to do before I start shellac. The biggest issue is working with 85 to 90 degree temp and feels like 90% humidity 20180626_202938 by Tom Ress, on Flickr

Tonight I started working on prepping the floor for tile. I also found my gas leak. I just need to fix it now. I also did some trouble shooting on my fridge and found that the board is bad. It seems like my work is never done.

It seems like my work is never done. Not only is a bad board the usual problem, but it's an easy fix that costs no more than a little solder. 99% of the time, the point on the circuit board where the power comes in is loose due to over heating and unsoldering itself. Check that and save yourself $150 for a new board.
