Worked on plumbing last night. Got most of the holes and pipes run between the tanks and the access pieces on the outside wall. Then ran out of parts so had to go to Menards. Have a before picture but forgot to take an after picture, will do that maybe tonight.

Today I worked all day on plumbing. Got the city water, fresh water and grey water all done and working with no leaks. Got the plywood counter top cut and ready for the formica and masonite. Got the on demand water heater mounted and hooked up to water. Will hook up gas soon. 20170818_195232 by Tom Ress, on Flickr 20170818_195218 by Tom Ress, on Flickr 20170818_195400 by Tom Ress, on Flickr

After taking Sunday off to spend with my daughter, wife and daughters boyfriend I got back to work. I spent all night running gas line inside the camper since it was raining outside. All I have left is to hook the tank to the inside fitting and secure the gas line in spots and I will be ready to test the system. I also did get the Masonite ruff cut so I can put the Formica on. My check list is getting smaller all the time. Or should I say my check list in column A is getting smaller. I have the feeling column B will be a moving target. 20170821_210313 by Tom Ress, on Flickr

I can now say, "I'm cooking with gas!" Last night got the rest of the gas line ran to the bottle, tested the stove, gas light, on-demand water heater and 3 way fridge and they all seem to work. We also hung the curtains and made the bed. The to-do list is getting smaller all the time. The issue will be the amount of time it takes to complete some of the to-do items. Here are some pictures. 20170822_210854 by Tom Ress, on Flickr 20170822_210836 by Tom Ress, on Flickr 20170822_210759 by Tom Ress, on Flickr 20170822_210740 by Tom Ress, on Flickr 20170822_210806 by Tom Ress, on Flickr 20170822_210819 by Tom Ress, on Flickr 20170822_210901 by Tom Ress, on Flickr

Good morning and another night of work completed. Not much to report on though: - Installed scissor jacks - touched up paint on bumper and lp tank holder - took vinyl off on of the seats The seat doesn't look to bad to make. One big piece of vinyl with a skirt. I think I can get one of these sewn up in a couple of hours. (which means a couple days in reality) 20170824_210714 by Tom Ress, on Flickr

Take lots of pictures, especially the re-stuffing. I have a set to do but the stuffing is a mystery. The covers aren't too difficult. My springs had to be re-tied with wire, so it's ready to go. The hinges appear to be OK.

Today I worked on building the last 3 doors. Got them built, stained and mounted. Tomorrow I will take them off and varnish. I also made a new door slide for the screen door. My brother worked on the false bottom in the shelf over the dining table. Tomorrow I need to varnish the doors, pull the springs off the benches and paint them to trap in the mouse smell and go to the bed maker and get some material build up the benches. I hope to also start sewing the bench covers. 20170826_182510 by Tom Ress, on Flickr

The gas lamp above Your table looks to be an almost exact match to the one I installed above My table. I do not remember the brand name, but, it was made in England.

Take lots of pictures, especially the re-stuffing. I have a set to do but the stuffing is a mystery. The covers aren't too difficult. My springs had to be re-tied with wire, so it's ready to go. The hinges appear to be OK. I will take pictures. I talked to a guy to day and he tell me the following: -From the wood frame there are zig zag springs -next layer is a good burlap or some type of fabric that will not tear and give support- he says this is the key base item without it the whole thing falls apart - Springs need to be tied to each other and have a good rim around the top as well at fastened to the wood frame - The layer on top of the springs can be several different things and or layers of stuff but again a very important part - we are going to try what they call foam skin. I guess this if the top layer of foam when they make it and the outside is very hard and works well on top of the springs. - there is other options again now on top of the skin. I think we will use some other type of fill and then foam on top of that with then some type of protective fabric for the foam. - now the vinyl goes on around that. - then a dust cover on the bottom which he has some type of frame resistant fabric that also will be very hard But my first step was to take everything apart and paint it and hopefully trap some the mouse pee smells into the wood. Also prime the springs. 20170827_202102 by Tom Ress, on Flickr So tonight the work effort was: Took benches apart Painted benches Talked with guy to figure out how to build the layers back up Varnished the new doors I built yesterday Buffed the hinges, screws and catches

Thanks for the info. I still have a few more springs to tie, but the rest looks good. The problem I'm having is that there were big "balls" of cotton in the two front corners. They seemed to be there for support. The size was approx. 8" diameter but extended down in a rather oblong shape.
It's hard to get good quality materials to rebuild things these days. I know that mine had woven straw/grass pads on the seat and back, mouse magnets...
