That lock from VTS is a correct replacement for what's on my '63 Airflyte.
As to the bed, mine is original, but I won't be reunited with my trailer until near the end of June. If you still need a picture then, I'll be happy to take one.

They would need to be wired to be on while towing on the road!

I do not think the burner is supposed to go on and off by the thermostat. This^ My Morphy doesn't have a pilot, just the zip tube for lighting it and the thermocouple/safety switch to shut the gas off if the burner goes out. I'm (all too) familiar with the 3-way/propane Norcolds that come in '90s VW Eurovans - the temperature control only regulates the size of the flame, governing energy input into the system, the burner never shuts off and there is no pilot.

I am not really on the "hunt", as more than likey the 3 shasta's, 1 lakewood and 1 fan trailer are enough. But....... Many of us aren't really on the "hunt" either, but ... If the right trailer crossed my path, well, you know what would happen.

All but the first two in the post with lots of pictures.
Outside looks great. Looks like you'll have plenty of fun with the rest :-) Welcome!

I was checking on my construction project and I saw these across the street from the motel I was at in Colorado. I've stayed there before and there were 5. Now they're down to 4. At least my Airflyte won't be lonely. Then I saw these in Santa Fe. Six of them. They're behind a fence, with barb wire. No one was around. I'll work on finding out their story.

Vampliers - a great name.
I've even had to use vice grips to squeeze the jaws of the vampliers to securely grip some particularly stubborn screws and nails.

My Airflyte is a '63, but I suspect the electrical system was similar. You can see the original 120v inlet in this photo - closest to the front is the water inlet, next is the electrical inlet. Single circuit in a box below the street side bench. Light over the table, sink, and sconce by the bed are 120v. Light in front of the refrigerator is 12v (maybe 6v?) powered by a dry cell in the far aft kitchen cabinet. Do you have some mystery wires in that cabinet? Here's a picture of the original sconce:

Or try Diamond Back Tires - www.dbtires.com. They list trailer tires in several sizes.

The trailer ad has been flagged for removal. I'm still on the ground in the Albuquerque airport.
My wife is 4 years younger than me. I suggested she had to work 4 more years. That wasn't one of my best ideas... Instead, I, too, will be her assistant until we can wrap up her business.
