Found this cutie while browsing for inspiration for Ziggy. I absolutely love the "screen door" on this one!

Great shape. Love the stove and cabinets. Looks like a good restoration candidate although it needs careful inspection, especially where the tree hit the roof.

I just happen to be on my way to Portland this afternoon! I retired last week, my new garage is almost finished, I can feel the universe aligning ...

Retirement? How do you go about it?
I have a problem. My wife is 10 years younger than me. I told her I've retired, but am willing to help out at "her" business. She just smiles and tells me, "You can't retire, yet."
Today I am minding the store while she and the young one are in the city visiting a museum.

The trailer ad has been flagged for removal. I'm still on the ground in the Albuquerque airport.
My wife is 4 years younger than me. I suggested she had to work 4 more years. That wasn't one of my best ideas... Instead, I, too, will be her assistant until we can wrap up her business.

Since the ad was flagged, we can wander from the subject of the thread. I retired at 48 (no kids) and my wife is much younger and loves her part time job.
I told my her I'd give up the campers and "help her". She told me to buy several campers and work on them all day!
I guess that makes me a "kept man". Or, a kept camper restorer.

Mine told me if I even looked at another camper I would be the "lost man". So I turned off the computer and went back to repairing the back fence that blew down a week or so ago. NC, you're a lucky man.

I guess in my case she figures she will not retire until age 65, so I'll have to wait until then. Somehow that just doesn't seem right!

Did anyone copy a photo from the ad? I may be wrong, but, it seems to me that I remember about 3 years ago an ad for a 1952 Roadliner that showed about 10 photos of the outside and interior. It wasn't until you got to the bottom of the ad, it mentioned the camper had been entrusted to the seller, and the photos were of it before it was sideswiped by some kind of vehicle. Different versions of that ad kept popping up and almost as quick were always flagged, maybe by the true owner of the camper. If someone copied a curb or street side photo and posts it, I think I could recognize if it was from that series of (imo) bogus ads. That said, I have a photo of a real nice 1956 Roadliner, about 16', that has a Dutch door. It has a white upper and yellow lower graphic paint job. Very nice looking.

I saw this thread some time ago, but just finally stopped lurking and decided to resurrect the thread. I think that I bought the trailer that started this thread. The trailer was in pretty good condition as mentioned above except for a few areas...the side that was damaged near the top and the back end where someone had hacked up the sheet metal to install crappy taillights. The damaged sheet metal helped destroy the back paneling and the framework. Whomever "fixed" the sheet metal on the side did a better job as it showed no reoccuring leaking. As for the damaged top...it is not damaged and it had not been hit by a tree limb. That is just the design of the Roadliner. They all had that little dip. The actual year was a '55. After we purchased it, my wife and I did some digging and found the last titled owner. They still had the title and signed it over to us. It is currently being rebuilt. I had opened up the back end of it and all the wood literally fell out, so we decided to rebuild it. At least we went camping in it a couple times first

I could do a search for it but seeing the real thing's be nice too. Always interested in seeing what and how others are doing the job on their campers.

I apologize, I linked to the craigslist ad and never did keep any copies. It was before I knew we were not suppose to just link to the ad but pull the pictures and post them for future reference as well.
