Hello fellow ol camper nuts, my name is travis from s.e. central il. My wife and i have been into the old camper scene a few years now. It all started for us with a 16' 64 fan gotten for a hundred dollars. That was followed by a 16' 61 layton and this weekend i finally towed home the "new" project. Not entirely sure of the year yet however it's a late 50's rollohome dreamhome. Will be posting pictures very soon so if anyone has any info it would be swell.

I've been trying to add pictures of the dreamhome, but no such luck. I tried the photobucket method however i am on a cellphone so that may be the problem.

I have found some pictures of a 1960 that is similar but mine is older. There was a paper tag on a closet wall that had 1956-59 written on it.

I sure like them. Luckily they are in great shape as i wager it would be very difficult to find replacements. So glad the link to the pictures worked. I am tearing out and replacing the kitchen ceiling this eve as a limb had came through i where it was at. It just so happened that it went through directly over the sink so almost all the water it took on went safely out the drain!

I have been researching countless places online and even the mobile home tax info at the courthouse. A tag in the back has a 6v wiring diagram and it was mainly phased out by auto manufacturers by 56.there is also a tag with the code for the pabco linoleum flooring with the code 1956-59. With that i think it was made during 55 for the 56 model year. I had seen an ad for the 55 and 60 model but many rollohomes must not have survived as there is very little info online.
