vikx, it's odd that we got the best of both worlds. I got a Border Collie that I love and she's a low energy Border. It's an odd thing.
The camper will be pretty awesome. I did find out that it was 'restored' at one point many years ago. The interior paneling is all nailed in poorly which might allow me to take it out easier sense I know for a fact that there's water damage on the back wall and above the door.
We made great progress last night in the yard and we'll hopefully be able to finish filling the raised beds. That should happen this morning. Once that's done I'll be moving the fence. This is really a huge push to clear our plates of all the other outdoor projects so that we can focus on the trailer and fishing.
We'll have more photos today, all interior shots and then it'll be time to start stage tools and and storage in the garage so we can get started!

I've done technical writing for software. The novel was Post Apocalyptic zombies, mixed with Knights Templar.

Oh I know. I'm just an odd type of geek. Not really a big sci-fi junkie other than post apocalyptic movies but I am a published author and poet. Does that count??

Yep. Down there the city is northern and the country is southern. No doubt about it!

Well it looks like this project is a big GO. Just posted over in the restoration board some photos of the outside. Now it's prepping the yard and what equipment I do have to go ahead and do the restore!

HAHA!! Okay thanks for making me laugh. I did notice one thing on the camper, there's a big dent in the roof above the bunk bed. I'm betting that the cross member there is busted so I'll need to take at least the back and back upper skin off to replace it.

Thanks, Susie. We're going to get pics tonight of the interior. Or tomorrow. The fence you see behind the camper is actually getting moved to the front of the camper during the restoration to keep our homeless river population (they camp on the rivers here) out of the camper.

Uh most likely. I work in software. What's the point?
That I'm afraid of whats under that skin and since I know that I can now fix it?

What size tarp would you recommend for covering a Shasta Compact? Mines about your size Susie.

I have the 'diamond' textured inserts in my wings and they been spray painted a silver color. What would be the best method for getting all that paint out of the texture and polishing up the wings?
Thanks so much,
Ben
