I haven't posted in a while, the weather and a sickness going through our family made us stall a little. Today after work I had enough time to almost finish one window before it started raining on me lol, I had to finish it inside, shined up and new seals. We also started on insulation but are from from done with that. IMG-4087 by Mel L, on Flickr Hopefully it will stop raining so I can get out there after dinner tonight.

Lunch break post, only because the Airflyte looks so much better with that nasty floor covered up, making the template for the linoleum. IMG-4099 by Mel L, on Flickr Also thought I would post this because I havent yet, I covered the water damage around the kitchen ceiling light with a birch medallion I made, I know most of you would have just replaced the whole sheet but I am really on a tight budget with this trailer. Framing is solid and didnt need replacing, only the wood block that holds the light fixture on needed replacing. IMG-4100 by Mel L, on Flickr

Mel just keep in mind that once you transfer your template to the flooring material it will still have to be trimmed once inside the camper. You need the correct knife for that. Hope you watched my video on the Marmoleum install on the 66 Super Shasta. I hired a pro to do that because I didn't trust myself to do it properly. I did not have room to make any mistakes with that really, really expensive material.

mobiltec Linoleum or sheet vinyl are actually much easier to cut than Marmoleum. I talked to the guys at the flooring store when I was thinking about a remnant of marmoleum and they told me how much thicker and harder marmoleum is. Sheet vinyl cuts easily with a utility knife. My stepdad is going to come over and supervise the install as hes done it a few times. Ive also watched a few video and everyone does suggest leaving it a tad bigger and cutting it down while its in

Today we finished the 12V wiring up, and got the curb and street side insulated and taped. I also got a bunch of little odds and ends done. Removed fridge, cut the notch for fantastic fan, trip to Lowes for supplies, capped off the gas line for fridge and heater, installed hand pump. IMG-4124 by Mel L, on Flickr

Your camper looks great. You do excellent work start to finish.
The second camper is easier, isn't it?

Thanks nccamper and yes its much easier this time around. All my friends keep telling me I should do this for a living, but Im ready to be done and enjoy my summers camping I told myself no more campers but my husband doesnt believe that will happen lol Today my husband helped me insulate the ceiling front to back, so now ALL the insulation is done. I did a lot of little things while he was at work. Shellacked quarter round, cut and installed shelf braces for in the closet, cut and shellacked trim for my heater hole shelf and installed the shelf and trim and a few other small things i cant remember. My body is sure feeling this 10 hour workday. ouch! Im proud of my shelf, I thought about keeping the furnace but the mouse peed in the bottom and I figured I would smell it every time I turned the heater on, yuck! IMG-4132 by Mel L, on Flickr Oh yeah and I traced the floor template on the luan, but didnt have enough time to cut it. Good thing I got a free case of boxed water over the weekend at a festival, worked good to hold down the paper ha IMG-4128 by Mel L, on Flickr

Today after work I cleaned up the front window then realized I am short 5 inches on one gasket, so put in an order at vintage trailer gaskets. Had to order 2ft because I didnt want to piece them together. The front two outer glass panels are broken but I dont have the right dental pick tool, so ill buy one tomorrow. Then after my husband got home we put up the street and curbside skin on, the bottom half is super dirty because i left it in the rain under a big tree, oops. IMG-4142 by Mel L, on Flickr

Which gasket for the side front window did you use from vintagetrailergasket.com? Are you happy with the fit? I like the shelf in the heater space.

I meant the front window, outer sides are broken. I haven't got to the front side windows yet, I'll let you know how that goes when I do.
