Hello. I have been remodeling what I was told was a 1950 something Shasta. However, I believe it looks like a 1965 Shasta 1500. The VIN Numbers are GS 24048 with another number on the tow tongue next to it of PA 3928. Here is a picture I found on the internet that most closeley resembles mine before I took it down to the frame. Thank you in advance! shasta by Carl Culver, on Flickr According to our database, it is a 1965 built at the Leola PA plant. It looks like a 1500 which was made at that plant in that year. Thanks for the photo.

Hi there ! Newbie originally from South Africa but proud to call the states my home now!! ❤️ I just ordered your ebook, because I was given “a new to me Shasta”... needless to say she is in dire need of restoration! I’ve watched mibiltechs videos etc online too! Here is my question kind sir - my camper was manufactured in Texas grapevine from what I can gather and the number on the trailer I located is as follows : T10010 I have no idea of the year or model as it didn’t come with a title ....she also has her wings , if that helps ... I would add a photo but for some reason there is no where to link one using a mobile iPhone ! Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Marisa Ps I posted in a wrong thread before this one - apologies

It was built 1975 (yes, TX) and my guess is it's a Loflyte but I may be wrong. It's newer than I usually work on. Hopefully somebody more knowledgeable on 1970s Shasta campers will chime in. I added your photo to your post.

This is a 16SC, has the same features as my first one...awning windows, stove vent, and also the vent for the gas light over the stove. Mine was built in 1970. I believe this to be an anomaly in the database. The "gold-stripe" exterior was change out in the 1974 model year, just prior to Coachmen's buyout of the original Shasta company. The paint design was quite different starting in the 1975 year.

Vin N-22533 We think its a 1967 Starflyte....We originally thought it was a Astroflyte but ours has two propane tanks and more features that match a starflyte. Can anyone confirm ? Yes bad pictures with that tarp on it... we can provide better ones. thank you flic.kr/ps/3WVRjw

There are no serial numbers that begin with a letter N, but I can see that a N might actually be a V. Your VIN fits with other 1967 Starlytes we have listed with the trunk back if we read it as V-22533. Manufactured in Goshen, Indiana. Cheers, Rod

Hi All, I just purchased a Shasta Compact and I have located the VIN on the left side facing the tongue. The number is 35081V. I always thought the letter came first..... Looking to find out what year it is. Here are some pics! TIA Hi and Welcome, Yes, that's odd that the letter is after the numeric string. The VIN stamp guy worked late on a Friday the day this trailer was finished off the assembly line and started drinking before the end of his shift? If you want to confirm the number, take a piece of paper and a pencil and make a rubbing, it comes out very clear. I will assume it is correct, though. If we interpret the V in the front of your numeric string, it's a 1973 Compact manufactured in Goshen, Indiana. Cheers, Rod

We aren't sure if its a star or astro ? our bathroom only has a toilet no shower... plus our water inlet is to the right of the door not to the left. Hi There! My in-laws just gifted us what they believe is a 1967 Shasta Stratoflyte (Has the stratoflyte emblem). The Vin is P18971 - I know that it was made at the Leola, Pennsylvania plant just trying to verify the year. Thanks in advance!
