Hi There! My in-laws just gifted us what they believe is a 1967 Shasta Stratoflyte (Has the stratoflyte emblem). The Vin is P18971 - I know that it was made at the Leola, Pennsylvania plant just trying to verify the year. Thanks in advance! Hello and Welcome! Congrats on your new gift! Thank you for your contribution. According to the database, this should be a 1971 model Stratoflyte 18'. Cheers, Rod

So I'm just finishing up a resto on our Shasta Airflyte. When I bought it, I was told it was a 58. (They had started to re-title it). First clue of a possible different year, during the tear down I noted the back of mirror had a late 1959 date on it. Other clues that may make it a early 60's model is, it has aluminum screen door. And the front window is the center jalousie style. The VIN is V4635,so i do know it was built in Indiana. It does have electric brakes as well, if that matters.
Any ideas?
thanks! John

Nice camper. It's an Airflyte. We don't see many with the bathroom. Great find.

Dear Ross, I don't know if you're still providing this generous service of dating Shasta's, but if you are: Thank you! I'd love your help. I have what I think is an early 70's Shasta Stratoflyte. The VIN is P24279, and she was born in Leola, Pennsylvania. I made my avatar a photo of the Shasta. I'm not sure you'll be able to view these pictures, but if you can, there are some identifying clues here. One is pretty puzzling -- a hand-written note saying "Repressed Std 8/12/74 820-B." Any idea what that means?? docs.google.com/document/d/1IKu5GseIHNSQv6yXt50Ndp3M9jYA3DysqGEZxUWTvKU/edit?usp=sharingBased on the other Stratoflyte VIN numbers you mention in other posts, I'm guessing she's a '72? With sincere thanks, Susanne
