Hey Everyone, Posting this question here because most stop here a take a look.
Why don't we plan a VTT Rally for members in the middle of the US? It would be so great to meet some of you. Has this been talked about before?

Started replacing some very rotted wood on the Floor to Ceiling and the Kitchen Counter. When we bought the 56 Jewel, the vent had been open and it had rained for weeks straight. She was just soaking it all in, probably for years. And the are so many bored holes from bugs. Looks like Swiss cheese. Hey Mom, Did you notch the vertical support on the back of the kitchen cabinet frame? I can't tell if you did or not. Nice work. Rod A notch? Tell me please. What would it be for? The counter top was sagging, that is why I added the support.

Teachndad Amazing Stove, gotta say I'm a little jealous, seems like there's so much good vintage stuff in CA. Planning day today. Did some measuring, looks like I'm going to have to make some unplanned changes to fit the new fridge into its spot. Waiting for the barn insulation job to be finished, then the camper's going in. nccamper do you buy your skin from Atomic? You seem to be very close. Found this gas light on facebook! Gas light find by Corvett crzy, on Flickr That color is cool. Do they come like that or did someone paint it. I have that same lamp but the normal silver.

nccamper do you buy your skin from Atomic? You seem to be very close I bought my skin from Hemet valley again. atomic is the place in Nashville? They’ve changed your name a few times. Unfortunately that’s about 10 hours round-trip for me. It’s just easier to order it from Hemet and I know from experience that their freight handler guarantees delivery in excellent condition. I had a problem with the order last time being slightly damaged and they replace the whole shipment.

Has this been talked about before? I'm planning to have mini rallies all over the country during my nation wide tour. Dates and places will be posted on my website and here. The tour will be in four chunks. Five if I go to Alaska and six if I go to Hawaii...

That’s a purdy good lot off of $1000 worth of skin.

Today I trimmed the putty, washed the camper and checked for leaks, installed the table, screens and gas lamp shade.
I ordered the 10" memory foam mattress which won't be here until June 20th so I'm going to milk the two days work remaining. Thus the "I put screens in today..." post.

Today I took the old skin from my Airflyte to the recycling place. 130 pounds of vintage camper.
.
They paid me $31.97 in cold, hard cash.

Today I repacked the bearing on our 1962 Forester. I do it once a year. I replaced the deep cycle battery which lasted 4 years. I moved the camper around so I could take the Forester on an overnight trip to the state park 12 miles away with a huge lake. Every site was taken. They closed the beach and told 500 campsites/campers that the water was off limits in 85 degree heat on a beautiful weekend...but the boat ramp was open so hundreds of people turned the boat ramp into the swim dock. Should have just left the huge beach area open IMO.

How to make money on your vintage trailer project!! Yep! Reminds me of the old motorsports joke:
How do you make a small fortune in racing? Easy. Start out with a large fortune.
