Hi Larry, We are in Lenawee County Michigan, in the region known as the Irish Hills. I bet there is quite a lot of old vintage stuff to be found in your area. That's the kind of place American Pickers would visit.

They came to Lower Michigan last month. Haven't seen yet where they ended up. We have lots of vintage "stuff" around here. Unfortunately our weather tends to destroy campers both old and new. I met a woman at the TCT rally at camp Dearborn who found a mint condition trailer that was kept in a barn and hardly used. She talked the seller down to $1000. He obviously had no idea of its value. I am always on the look out, but I'm amazed at the condition trailers out west.

Great score! It would match my appliances perfectly, as is!

I found this old thermos jug for my trailer. You can see it came from the atomic era and has spaceship legs. It has never been used and still has the cardboard tag. I may rehab it into red and cream and get a new sticker made by my decal guy depending on what colors I go with on my trailer exterior. I JUST saw an old one similar (a bit of rust and no legs) yesterday. I kept thinking i should buy it but didn't. Going to have to go back to the shop tomorrow, aren't I SaveSave

That's an awesome find. I'm trying to find one for my trailer, and matching coolers if possible.

Lady W, so cool! Please don't paint it, it's beautiful just the way it is.

I've been wanting to show off a few of the goodies I've acquired for the trailer. Finally got pics of a few Here's this awesome lantern we had to have, it's only about 5" tall and I still need to get a lantern battery to make sure it works. Even if it doesn't, it's still cute. Here's one set of salt and pepper shakers I have. I've always been drawn to them and used to collect them, but they got broken over the years what with kids and all. Seems I'm falling back into the habit since I now have three sets And of course when I saw the matching drippings bowl I couldn't pass it up. I can't believe neither of these things have ever been used, they are from an old store the sellers family owned and are new old stock. When I'm feeling better I'll share some more of my cool finds. Thanks mobiltech for starting this thread.

I love love love this thread. Jadeware is cool. Glass dishware is cool, period. I have never seen a 'Drippings' bowl before! No reason why the lamp shouldn't work, as long as nothing is corroded inside, a bulb should be too hard to find. It is really neat, thanks for sharing some of your loot with us.

Never seen drippings bowl before??? Wow, both of my grandma's had one that stayed right on or by their stoves. When cooking breakfast they'd drain the fat from the bacon or sausage into the bowl then use it for everything from frying chicken and even making a cake with it. Chocolate and bacon isn't new, it's just being done differently than my grandma's did it. The inside of the lantern is pristine and the bulb looks like it's never been used. It is my favorite find so far.

I would totally retrofit an led flashlight into that lantern... Just don't let your relatives help.
