Welcome Janhar...
I'm not a Scotty wizard but according to my info the Sportsman had no drop floor. And we would have to see photos of the inside and outside and know the length and VIN to help you any further. So get us some photos and we'll try to help out.

Thanks for the information. I heard from Larry that the paint has actually changed color over time and the stains will not come out and that it would need to be repainted. : - ) That was just a possibility. Go ahead and try the stuff that they mentioned out.

Nice... The awning you have is pretty much what they were coming with originally. Just a fabric "Rope Awning"....

I love little trailers like this. It would look great if you did the interior in birch.

I just had to share this again because it's been one year since delivering the 1948 Mainline Silver Lodger to the 90 year old owner. Wait till you see the look on her face when she first steps inside the newly restored trailer. I feel this has been my finest work to date. Video Link: youtu.be/fZclNCm_J9Q

I couldn't find anything under the sink or behind the mirror. Here's some photos of the Trailer:
Thanks
Sorry I have no idea what that is.

I appreciate that, Hamlet. And I feel exactly the same way. Overpaid for the original purchase, had to ship the trailer 1,100 miles south, across the Canada-US border, for a complete and proper restoration, paid too much for some very nice laminate, upholstery and flooring, paid the restorer to tow it back to the border -- and couldn't be happier with the finished product. Will keep it until I drop. I'm in the process of sharing the project in this very forum. It's under "an introduction, and a question" -- if you want to check it out. Paul I wasn't chastising you for paying too much. Just sayin what I've done in the past. I agree that if you have the means, and it is what you want, then price is no object I suppose. On the other hand, there are a lot of people out there with old rolling pieces of pure junk in their back yard and they are looking at it as if it's a little gold mine waiting to be prospected. I always try to talk them down and I have walked away from a LOT of trailers just because of price.

I was given a Kit Companion 1700SCS and I can't figure out what year it is. It was made in Idaho. I think it's a 1969, but I can't find any information about it or find any diagrams. It is a single axle trailer with: ~The door towards the front ~Big side slatted windows above a pull out sofa bed ~There is a place near the stove where there is a built in Coleman Lantern that connects through the propane system ~The dining table (bed conversion) is to the right of the door and there is a tri-fold (really heavy) fold down bed above it. ~The back end of the trailer has a storage closet, 3 drawers with a window above and a bathroom ~Between the bathroom and dining is a closet, the stove with burners & overhead fan, a single sink, and a refrigerator ~The stove, the overhead fan and the refrigerator is a turquoise color ~The counter and backsplash have original turquoise accents Do you have any ideas? Also, have you taken apart a Kit Companion? If so, can you point me towards those videos? Thanks, Chris, Lake Wenatchee If it has an original mirror in it take it down and look at the back. Many times the year is on there. Also you can look at the bottom side of the sink. That too might have the year on it. The VIN may be of some help. Photos would help as well.

I would love to see the BUILD photos and the finished product. Pricey??? What you want is a HARD cover for your trailer. It's a cheap insurance policy to keep your trailer looking nice and leak free for years to come. I would love to know what you were charged for the restore. Materials AND labor....

I have never paid more than $500 for a restorable vintage trailer. And I consider VINTAGE to be any trailer older than 1969...
