Soup just think only EIGHT more days till winter. OMG!!!Stuff like that just makes me want to deck some halls!! Thanks for reminding me Bill. This one so far has been the worst one in quite sometime. They usually get this stuff up towards you every year around I-70 & north. But not down this far!! It's funny though, even when Louisville gets hammered it usually blows around us here. This time of year we usually have at least one 50 degree day a week to allow melt off each week. I'm dreaming of a sunny 60 degree Christmas....Like mobiltec!!

Soup I have given up on December. Now I am hoping for January to turn off warm and stay that way till April, of course I don't always get what I want. Since I have to transport the boss in her wheel chair to the doctor each week till mid February that probably means we will spend till then with a foot of snow on the ground and sub zero temperatures. How is that for a negative attitude?

Hey Soup next Friday it will be 46 degrees and rain but at least you won't have to shovel it.

Snow Snow Snow I'm dreaming of a GREEN Christmas, as this stuff keeps piling up. They say it should stop by 9:00PM. Thirty years ago this would have been fantastic. Now that I am old and break easier I hate it. I am just spoiled we have not had much snow the last couple of winters. I will have to admit that sitting here looking out the window it is beautiful, looks like a Christmas card.

Sounds like your getting the nice stuff while I'm getting the ice stuff! All freezing rain and ice here right now. It looks like a welcome to he11 freezing over card here. I can't even blow this crap out of the way!! Pass the ice pick so I can get in my car and go get another sump pump sense ours failed last night. (When it ice rains, it pours!)

We need a "Weather" thread LOL... In my Death Valley Exploring forum we have an "Off Topic" section for everything else.

Larry Soup can't work on the Lowflyte so we just started talking about why, it is probably boring to the rest of the people reading it but there doesn't seem to be much trailer talk right now anyway. I am sorry if we offended anyone.

I am sorry if we offended anyone. Oh not at all Bill. I have been thinking that we need an "off topic" forum for a while now.... There are plenty of things I would like to share that don't fit anywhere here really. Like the Geminids Meteoroid Shower last night and tonight. I have a link that you can watch the showers with live on line if you don't want to brave the cold or have cloud cover at the moment. Had no idea where to put it.
So here it is LOL...

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2icfjEPA6UFinally go to do something on the camper, but I won't say anything about the weather! Got the cable port installed, now we can get that front side wall panel in and start building the rest of the front wall too! Started demo in the back area too.

Hi Soup, Great job on the rebuild and excellent choice in music. Where were you able to find a 1-piece roof panel? Local shop says the material is not avail in the dimensions required for my Shasta clone

Hi Soup, Great job on the rebuild and excellent choice in music. Where were you able to find a 1-piece roof panel? Local shop says the material is not avail in the dimensions required for my Shasta clone Thanks Nomad95336, I did two different roof skins on two units this past year. I got both roof skins at; www.hemetvalleyrv.net/Ask for Steve when you call, he's great. I have been very happy with both of the roof skins he provided. His roof skins are made from several panels with a factory locking seams that connects the panel skins for total length. The seams are really smooth and tight and give a very clean look for the roof as the seams are barley visible compaired to the older vintage roof seams. They are shipped rooled up in a long box. They were both around $650 each including shipping from California to Cincinnati, OH area. There is another place in FL that will do roof skins too, price about the same but they don't have Steve there and he really makes the difference sense he is so knowledgeable. Good Luck and keep us posted! soup

Wow, you are right, those seams are not readily apparent at all. Any chance for a close-up pic of the seam?
