Oh wow! Look at that terrible buckling on the rear. And those dinette cushions! Geeesh. Very poor quality indeed.

Seriously, I would be ashamed to offer these 'THINGS'...
They should be recalled.

Odd, the link isn't working for me.
They are still all over the place offered for sale "almost new" or "brand new". One was even listed as a 2016 model...
The most interesting listing had to do with the recalls and mentioned new axle, springs and wheels per the recall. I can't imagine what the factory was thinking. All that guy had to do was talk to a few of us and they could have had a nice retro trailer. At least the edge trim would have been in the right place.

I heard the factory was selling the cool painted wheels and Coker tires for a deal...
Unfortunately, they are 215/75R/15? and won't fit our trailers. They didn't fit the Shasta retros, either. Ooops.

But hey, I'd rather see glampers and other lipstick aesthetics get one of these than improperly "restore" a vintage trailer.

How could they build something so simple and get it so wrong? Danny

Danny, I've written a book with lots of pictures and some descriptions. It's actually an "order of build" book. Talks about what to look for in a vintage trailer, how to assess what the build will be and where to start, how to continue. Mobiltec's videos are a great build source as well. There is a link here: vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/6546/book

There’s no second bed!!! Are all Shasta’s like that? Doesn’t make any sense to have a bench seat in back w/bathroom but no second bed! So odd. I don’t care for it at all. If you’re gonna have a vintage trailer...have the real Thing!
