I think it is an excel...it has many similar features to the Seattle creigslist post. Its to bad there isnt much info out there on them =( I wondered if it could be a 66 since the vin is 663 but Suzie Q`s research could prove otherwise although the Seattle one says its a 67. There's has a sink in the vanity outside the bathroom.

still don't know what my mystery trailer is. I put it on Tin Can Tourist, Rolling Vintage, and here and I keep hitting dead ends. I'm frustrated.

2 tings; 1: The tail light lenses and or marker lenses should have a 2 digit number somewhere indicating year. Also check appliance ID tags, under sink, behind mirror.
2: Contact Juergen Eichemueller, He'll know what make it is. He sells DVD's on feebay. You can contact him through there.

Finding some indication of the year may be the biggest help in tracking this down. There were many manufacturers who used the same designs over the different periods of time. I have seen a lot of them with these type corner curves and stout build that date late 60' to mid-70's.
I did get a response from the owner of the Excel, saying they did not have any more photos of the camper than were in the ad.

I think it's a Fireball. They had wheel cut outs like that and the cargo door up front on the curb side. And the door seems similar. The photo below is a smaller version. What do you think? Could the decal that everyone is thinking is a "B" be an "F"?

The numbers on the lenses are not the year of the trailer. For one thing, they were molded and that could be the year of lens manufacture. Secondly, it's rare to find a year on a lens, they were usually model numbers. (Bargman 99s, Reflect o Lite 110s, Pathfinder 575, etc)

Vikx ^ is correct. However, like on my 64, tail light part number is something like DOT23T64L43T. Now out of the number sequence the only possible year set is the 64 in the middle because I know it's not a 23 or a 43. But that particular taillight was only made for that year. Now on my 79 it has a DOT number sequence that has a set in it denoting 76. But that taillight was 1st manufactured in 76 and is still being used in 1979. All the lenses will do is narrow the search some not pin point the year. Have you checked appliance tags, back of mirror, Around the under side of the sink for part numbers, patent numbers, numbers from Underwriters Laboratories? Once you have those you can start Goggling all those numbers too. It will all help to narrow the search for year or at least give you a good idea of the year + or - a year or so. You might even get lucky and find the Holy Grail and actually see a date stamp somewhere. I didn't say it would be easy. Around the side edge of the yellow markers? Light assemblies under lenses, on back of assemblies etc? Basically you have to be a total detective. I searched high and low for a year on one of my trailers. Nothing. Then when I was doing work on a cabinet, I found a past registration slip that had fallen out of a drawer laying on the floor under the stove. I've even seen dates written on the side of a water tank in magic marker with the part number and a price of $19.95 and the Shasta Goshen, IN plant address on it. I've also seen where there was a shipment info written on the back of a sheet of paneling with date, factory delivery address, color and how many panels were on the skid. It might take some due diligence. Also if you get in touch with Juergen Eichemueller, He'll be able to tell you approx. years it was manufactured along with brand, history, etc. Even if you narrow it down to a 3 or 4 year production schedule, you'll be able to narrow further with other tid-bits of info culled from other places on the trailer. Axle number, Tongue, PAT. Date stamped into the actual hitch, jack model number, Make or part number stamped on drums, etc? You can track PATENT numbers here; www.uspto.gov/patents/process/search/Basically any patent numbers you can find and search will start narrowing down your exact year. You may find it takes say like 6 or 8 different pieces of info from different places on the trailer to figure it all out. That teal colored Humphrey gas light definitely looks like it could be a 63. Have you looked under the base plate on it yet for any numbers? That wall sconce looks to be from early 60's also. Have you had it off the wall yet to look at the back of it? If this stuff was easy, everyone would know what Juergen knows! LOL It's kinda hard for me to help from here without tearing it apart myself! Good Luck, I feel for ya. soup

The number showing in the above pic looks to be a Jack number and a Hitch number not a vin number. All hitches have a bunch of info stamped into them including Patent number. Your vin number will NOT be stamped on your hitch. It should be on the Frame Rail itself. To see it better, wet your finger, wipe it across numbers, then take a flashlight, lay it on the surface so the light shines across it, not down on it and see if you can get a patent number. But again, that will only narrow search. There should be an actual vin number on the frame rail somewhere forward the LP gas tank holder tray. Also check the inside of the frame rails for a welded tag forward the gas tank rack and aft the hitch or up under the hitch. Also, get some spray on paint stripper and get all the paint off the frame rail sections I mentioned above. NOT SANDPAPER The do the wet finger, flashlight thing everywhere behind hitch, foward the gas tank rack. By the way, nice shoes!

Also take a look at the back of that mirror on that upper cabinet for a date stamped in ink.

It's not a "Go-Tag-A-Long". The sticker isn't long enough.
