Just acquired a shasta that I was told was a 1957. In internet sleuthing I thought I had a 1963 1500. The stove is to the rear, the fridge hangs out of the cabinet over the gaucho on the curb side. Jalousie windows all the way around, 6 of them. Sink is marked 1964.Can offer other details and maybe pics if I learn how to share them. Vin on tongue plate is v-16336, any help is appreciated. Tyia

Hi Matty and Welcome!
Well done sleuthing about! You have a 1964 model Shasta built in Goshen, Indiana. I know the thread about 1500 vs. Airflyte. Go with the 1500. Here is a link to share photos. Please share your back story on your trailer and what plans you have. A good place to share is the Talk About Your Trailer subforum here on the board. For posting pix, go here:

DO NOT USE PHOTOBUCKET
Once you get the Flickr account set up and a little practice, it's pretty easy.
We look forward to seeing your trailer.
Cheers,
Rod

I am guessing the 1500. How wide is the camper 6.5 or 7 foot wide. I am pretty sure it is after 1960 because they didn't use the louvered front window until 1960 from everything I have seen

Hi everyone I'm new here and new to the camper thing. I bought myself a real beater a fixer upper for $200 from a buddy of mine. I have no idea what year or model this is and I'm way too ashamed to send pictures because it is a mess I was able to find the VIN under the tongue on the inside but not on the curbside of the tongue. My vin is s6331. Can you please help me figure out the model and year?

We need to see pix to establish the model. Here is the link to set up pix. vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/7276/add-photos-hosted-flickr-tutoriaCheers, Rod
