Sorry, coming late to this thread. My Vin/SN is P4346. I believe it is a 1965 Airflyte, can this be confirmed? Yes, you have a 1965 Shasta built at the Leola, Pennsylvania plant

I just picked up what is registered as a 1968 Shasta but it is a unique little thing that I have only seen a couple near identical ones in internet searches, both say they are 69. There is a plate on the hitch that is stamped S30471. I have title and registration is up to date (so odd for a 50+ y/o trailer, right?) so I am not super concerned about the year, although what I understand is "S" means S Carolina plant which opened IN 1969. Is that correct?
More of my "concern" or intrigue is the model. It's a 10' body (like a Compact) but it is NOT your typical Shasta Compact!
Let me know what you have as I am super excited to find out anything I can about this tiny anomaly on wheels.

Hi, we just acquired a trailer that has been sitting in a shed for over 20 years. I did find the vin plate and was able to get the paint off it. I see the numbers 8640 but cannot see a letter in front of the numbers. Badge by the door says it was manufactured in Greshan, IN. The previous owner says it is a 1962 Shasta. It also has a MHMA badge on it with a number T0005820. Thanks for all your help! Untitled by Diane Roelke, on Flickr

Hi demarie, If your camper was produced at the Goshen plant, and it’s definitely a 1961 based on your number.
I hope this helps.

Hello, I'm in the beginning stages of applying for a lost title for my camper. Based on pics from brochures that others have posted, I'm guessing I have a Low Flyte? Can anyone please tell me anything based on the pic and VIN (P13541)? Any info would be appreciated. shasta by thackte, on Flickr

Hi, new to this forum so not exactly sure if I am in the right spot. I have what I believe to be a 1958 or 1959 Shasta Airflyte with 12657 stamped on the frame and C12657 B4 stamped on a weld on tag on the other side of the frame. Looking to find out the exact year for registration purposes. I will begin restoration on this trailer soon. from research I have done I think the 58-59 might be accurate due to the type of screen door which were aparently only made those years. Anyone have a data base that the year could be determined. I know it was made in California from the serial number, but that's all I know. Have some pictures, but haven't figured out how to post them yet.

Hello, I am new to trailer talk - hello everyone I was hoping someone could help me figure out the year of my Shasta. It was purchased from an estate with a bill of sale and all documents needed to get a title.
The VIN is V-15672

VTT,
We recently bought a Shasta we found this plate
P - 5156 or may be P - 5158 inside the tongue
Could you help us decipher, we believe it is a circa 1965.
We’ve not tried to paint strip the tongue area yet on the curbside.
Prior owner had it registered in IL, where accuracy to the vin was not needed, as it was retitled. We’d like to try and figure it out.
We can send pics too, just looking to direct message who can help best, saw Ross and Vikx may have database?
Thanks, BT

Is it a short model or about 16' including the hitch which would make it an Airflyte? Feel free to share more about your trailer in the Talk About Your Trailer section of the forum. Cheers, Rod

I’m not sure how to share pics, and below is a video of exactly what all ours has, but no one says the model in this video… It is 15ft, 3ft tongue for 18ft I’m trying to see if this VIN is correct or if m.youtube.com/watch?v=1d1AfuPOO_cThanks, BT
