Hopefully I have the pictures uploaded properly. There is a knob in a panel next to the cabinet that is under the sink in my 69 Frolic. The knob pulls out and is connected to some type of switch as you can see in the picture. I thought it had something to do with the furnace but the wires go out the floor in the opposite direction of the furnace. I have no clue what it is supposed to do. I believe it is disconnected but I am curious as to it's purpose. www.flickr.com/gp/156678536@N03/Dez593Thanks for your help, Kathy

No clue what it could be for, Kathy. It does appear to be 12v wiring.
What is kind of cabinet is it, that has the pull knob? Have you tried to trace the wires from under the camper?

Tracing the wires was going to be my next step. I guess my description of location was confusing but I can see the back of the knob, where the wires are, when I open the cabinet door that is under the sink and look to the front of the trailer. The trailer is still in the barn and it will be difficult to crawl around under there right now. As soon as the weather improves and I can pull it out I will do more research on where the wires go under the trailer.
Thanks for your response.

If it is near the sink I would guess water pump.

I agree with shastatom, it is an after market switch that most likely goes to a water pump but could run a light or some other thing that doesn't appear to be factory equipment such as a fan. It is definitely a 12 volt switch not 110 volt.

I agree, water pump. Find the pump and see if you can test continuity from the pump hot wire to the switch wires...

I think you are right about the water pump. At one time, the trailer did have a water pump and a pressure tank under the dinette bench seat. It was removed at some point by a previous owner, currently the water is just gravity fed. I did find the wires that would have gone to the pump in floor under the dinette bench seat. Thanks for your help with this.
