The wall paper is going on. Probably be getting it finished tomorrow. It then will be time to install the front and side upper cabinets and get them covered. IMG_3172 by Martin Draper, on Flickr Why are we watching a house remodel in a trailer forum? But it is a trailer. LOL The price was right, "FREE". I just could not make the Luaun plywood stuff come out right using stains and clear. This seemed to Me like a nice alternative. My other thoughts was going to be to paint it. I just hope it doesnt seem like a glampmobile when it is all finished. The other alternative would have been to order 1/8th inch plywood then pay to have it shipped. I knew that I was going to need new roofing and siding and I just could not afford all three.

Beautiful clean job Marty. Always enjoy all your posts and comments. So when do you cut the hole in the floor to ice fish through? Long long ago, when I was a young 20 something we used to ice fish in western Montana a lot on Georgetown lake. Just bundled up and hunkered down.

Long long ago, when I was a young 20 something we used to ice fish in western Montana a lot on Georgetown lake. Just bundled up and hunkered down. No hole in the floor. LOL I`ll reserve the time on the ice for the shantys. LOL I was in My 2s and spent a lot of time in the western parts of Montana. I did fish in Georgetown lake several times. Never through the ice though. I did catch some trouts from the shore. The color and texture of the wall paper reminds Me of the speckled paint job on the interior of another camper thread in the forum. I have seen that type of a speckled paint job on other items, I just can not think of what it was. Maybe a pinball machine or some such. I did take another pic. from the left front of the interior of the camper. It would be impossible to take a pic. of the colors that are on this wall paper but I might try after it gets outside and have the even light of the sun on it. IMG_3175 by Martin Draper, on Flickr

That speckled paint job look is called Zolatone and was used on the interior of early Airstreams.

Donnie was here this morning before I got awokened, He helped to get the upper cabinets screwed to the walls and ceiling. I`m now ready to install the facia panels and floors onto those. I had to wait to install the facia and floors as there is no way to get the impact screw gun or a drill into those tight areas with those pieces installed. Mrs. Mousy did come out and give them an inspection. She is giving Me a stern look like something is not quite right, I looked it all over and could not see anything amiss. In one of my Quick Tips on my website I tell people they should install the interior window trim before they install the windows themselves. Many times it's very hard to get the trim in afterwards but easy to slip the window in after the trim is in.

OOOOHHhhh OUCH ! LOL I too hope it all slips right in. I did install the door, then the thicker aluminum trim would not fit. Hadda trim it back some, it is all good now. Them Multi tools is really nice for fixing a mess up. LOL

After using the last three weeks to do some major repair/maintenance on My BILz 2001 VW Passat, I finally get to move the camper back in. Now, to finish the overhead cabinets. IMG_3213 by Martin Draper, on Flickr

Maybe not a bigger truck, but is really does look like you need a longer drop hitch to level it out.
