I have always like the rear door design, but so few exist. After admiring the one in the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart, I decided to build one from scratch. Nancy Kroes provided a ton of files for dimensions, and I had a pop up frame perfect for this project. Had an old stove and sink, vintage lights. Need to find an icebox and early windows. Probly fab the door from scratch. Here is a few pics...

Very nice! You are doing Nancy's rebuild justice for sure. Can't wait to see more progress.

link for those of you that are "ate up" as my wife puts it with the vintage stuff...Google" Wilsonart retro laminate"if you haven't already for some pretty cool patterns. We all know Formica has obsoleted their Boomerangs patterns. It is not cheap.. But those of us that just has to have it...well...shop on!

I really like this. I'll bet I'm not the only one, in the midst of rot and mouse poop, sitting in our 'thinkin'' chair staring at our options, has thought about scrapping everything from the floor up and making our own dream image of the ideal canned ham. Grateful to you Cdude for taking up the challenge. Obviously not your first rodeo.
