Hard to believe it is the same trailer. should make someone a nice unit, Another job well done. Thanks! I agree, it has come a long way in just a little over a month. What parts of the job that are done, I did the best I could. It still has work to be done inside by the next owner, but it should be a good solid "no rotten surprises" entry level unit for someone. Exterior is pretty much wipped so the next owner can concentrait on the interior and glamping! It has good solid bones now too. It will need the bottom stick and bench top replaced on both back benches still. It didn't come with a table in the back either so I have one to install still. It's not the right shape but it will do untill next owner can build a new one. Other than that, it wasn't as bad as it looked when I brought it home. I wasn't sure about the teal and pink colors but they are starting to grow on me! If anyone here likes it so munch, that they just have to have it for themselves, just PM me here and I'll try to make them the next owner! I have already had a couple calls on it and a local couple from my town are chomping at the bit to come and see it in the next day or two. It would be really cool to actually see one of the ones I've worked on, running around my local area after the sale.

It's a great feeling to see one of your trailers show up at a local rally. I have seen as many as 5 of the trailers I have worked on at the same rally before. How cool is that?
Yours should go pretty quickly. The way you painted the wings to match is fantastic. Really highlights the trailer.

I love your paint job and wings. I kept looking at the trailer thinking it has such a familiar air to it. Then it hit me- Here's a link to the bike I rode in the 80's and 90's. screencast.com/t/4bh3AF4NcWs

Had a opening bid on it before the interior shots were even posted LOL Thanks. They turned out pretty cool and I'm NEVER happy with any of my work. I like the way the "Z" is the same angles as back of wings. Just luck. I actually took a pic of side of a camper, photocrapped it, printed out, transferred design onto white wings. They will do untill stock ones can be had by new owner. Have a great evening mobiltec!

Eh..what can you expect from a color named "Exotic Sea"!

The table is about the easiest part of a trailer to build. Looks like you will have it ready in no time. Not much to do in there now really. What will you do with the flooring?

I'm not doing anything else in there. Well mobiltec, I'll tell you what I'm going to do about the flooring..... SELL IT AS IS!! LOL Flooring and bedding are things the next owner will be doing. Like I said before, I've run out of time and money on this one. Matter of fact is it's already practically sold sense I've already got an opening bid of $2500 on feebay right now on it here; cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1966-Shasta-Compact-Vintage-Camper-Travel-Trailer-Canned-Ham-with-Wings-/251332591163?pt=RVs_Campers&hash=item3a8496fe3b&vxp=mtrOnly 3 days left on auction. Bout the only thing I got sceduled for it today is wire harness up front and towing it down to get weighed. As they say in the biz..."That's a wrap"!

Soup, is your rebuild of the Shasta LoFlyte camper still available for viewing online? I have a '69 Shasta Loflyte, and your pictures were very encouraging and inspiring. I'm looking for framing ideas for the left rear side. Thanks, Alan Ragan, alanragan@comcast.net
