I recently recovered the two big gaucho cushions and the two skinny ones. First one was a bear, but then I figured out what I was doing and tweaked the original plan. Really wasn't bad at all.
Started with top and bottom that was 1" bigger all around and five band pieces, one for each end, one for the front and two for the back, those I also cut 1" larger all around. The two in back are taller than the one in front because I have an opening on the entire back that overlaps itself by about a 1/2".
Just started sewing either the top or the bottom to the band pieces, once piece at a time, meeting in the corners. The original directions had me sew the entire band as one long piece, but I didn't end up with very good corners that way, so changed to each piece individually. Biggest tip was from LadyW, I think, with regard to getting the foam into the cover. Wrap an unopened trash bag on the bottom, the front edge and the top of the foam, and slide into the case, then pull out the trash bag. Easy peasy.
If I can figure out how to add pictures (definitely NOT computer savvy), I'll post some. I did curtains on the front and large side window that match, and then the two windows in the front sides are in contrast, as well as the bathroom. All have the same color of tie-back. I love my fabric, so I'm very happy.
Good luck!

Good for you. If you find they are not "puffy" enough, one of the tricks that the upholsterers use is to add a layer of white dacron fiber, the stuff that you buy off the roll at the fabric store about an inch thick. You attach it to the foam with spray glue and everything becomes puffed out, like you see in professional upholstery.

I purchased foam from Thefoamfactory.com My mistake was not paying to have them cut it. I placed the cushion long side against the fold, sewed both ends and wrapped them like a package, turned the final seam in and sewed velcro should I need to remove and wash. I purchased all the fabric for the curtains and cushions at Hobby Lobby and Joanne's. I bought the outdoor fabric for the awning at fabric.com and then sprayed sealant on it. In a hard rain it did leak. I have pictures on my desktop but couldn't drag and drop.

I thought the link would post the entire library, but I guess I had to post them individually.

I'm so lucky that the PO had such good taste! HaHaHa! Thank you, so very much for the compliment! We love it but I still can't wait to add my own touches though I really like how these two materials go together!

I thought the link would post the entire library, but I guess I had to post them individually. TOO cute. Really like this combo. I also plan to do a black and white checkered tile floor...do you remember what brand you used? I like this smaller scale of tile, too. Was it an easy install? It's very pretty how is all pulls together.
