Well it is certainly not perfect, but pretty fun. This is the fun part, after working for hours on end and getting ONE item checked off of your list.(the rebuild part not the glamping part) The glamping part really does make it stay fun in times of frustration!

Sorry for the random stuff in the background...that is not going in the Shasta...lol And my curtains are two panels...I made them with the original owners fabric (he was a rodeo cowboy) and added a new panel, tied up with black rope. Ours will be a mix of the new and the old...and that is what I like in my heart of hearts!!

This is what I'm thinking so far, the multi colored fabric for the curtains, the small swatches for the cushions and the blue boomerang for the counters and table.

I went to Joann's fabric and purchases outdoor fabric for cushions. The pillows were sew and stuffed with JF pillows/material. The curtains were neutral fabric using a aqua material and part of the cushion material as a trim. The Santa Barbara picture is actually a Wholefoods shopping bag I cut in half and stapled around a wood frame I made. Cheap, easy and matched with my color set. The only thing I didn't sew were the cushions. I had a friend help me on that.
I used a contrasting color for curtains in the kitchen. You can sew and it is not that hard. Another idea is finding long panel curtains in the color scheme you like and then making your curtains out of that material. It will save you time and money. If you plan it right you can make a boat load of curtains out of one panel. Fabric material can be expensive so this could be another option.

I like the blue theme going there, Mel. Everything pulls together.
Great idea to re-purpose curtain panels as well. I've often seen some that I liked, but wasn't smart enough to think about how "many" could be made our of one panel...

Mel, I really love your pattern mixing and color combinations. I can't wait to see that in your trailer.

I am thinking about adding some pink fabric to the bottom 3in of my curtains, just not sure how much I like it, im not really a pink kind of gal. it was my attempt to make my fabric stretch a little more because I might be a little short on fabric. I bought the last piece they had before they discontinued it, I actually bought the display piece. Honest opinions please

I think they tie in well, including the shapes in the pink. Good find. I, too, may be running short on curtain fabric. Was thinking that I might do one or two in out and out contrast to the main curtains. Mixing up my cushions based on colors in my curtain fabric, also. Going with white walls and grey cabinets.

I had never sewed anything ever before we got our North Star, but I ended up sewing the cushion covers and the curtaing. Our stove and fridge is avacado green, so I have three fabrics: Kelly green for the sofa, floral with red, coral, turquoise, yellow and green for the dinette and sofa back and a striped fabric with the same colors for the bunk. I was very surprised at how easy it was to do the cushion covers and I even added zippers so I can remove them if need be. The curtains are green with a tiny turquoise flower with a red band at the bottom and a polka dot trim. We will paint the outside with a green stripe. I'm a bit ocd about stuff, so I needed all of the colors to match and then mixed in patterns. Good morning, wondering if you can share a pattern or the instructions that you used to make "easy" cushions! I am a fairly accomplished seamstress and can make just about anything with a sewing machine, but the cushions feel a little daunting - especially since I've been told the foam is very expensive (therefore do not want to mess it up!) Thanks, ann

I'm so lucky that the PO had such good taste! HaHaHa! Thank you, so very much for the compliment! We love it but I still can't wait to add my own touches though

For what it's worth, I'm not fond of "busy" decor. So my cushions are going to be burgundy like my wood trim is stained, and like I painted the tub and bathroom sink and roof vent trim and light fixtures (it's all 70s plastic stuff in brown and babysh- I mean harvest gold). The curtains and bedding are where I plan to add a splash of some as-yet-unchosen contrasting color, maybe a bright yellow and white.

These are my fabrics. My appliances are aqua and I wanted something that would complement them!

The grey with flowers is for curtains, the navy with flowers is for curtain tie-backs and/or trim and the Navy is denim for the cushions.
I will be painting the interior a sandy beige color. I know... I know, the dreaded interior paint but I did not replace all of the paneling and the new does not match the old. I will also be reinstalling the original cabinets so my interior will look mish mash if I don't paint. I have taken many pictures to prove my work on the frame and structural pieces if anyone were ever to question the interior paint.
I will definitely be sewing the curtains but I'm still debating on the cushion covers. I've sewn quite a bit but never cushion covers so I'm a little apprehensive about them.
