Anyone have for sale or know where I might look for the lid that goes on the old pocket style water fill fixture? Not the round screw on one but the rectangular flip lid.

Wish I could help you Anna. My original had been replaced with a plastic one and I discarded it and did not replace my water tank. There is a thread here about replacing the water fill. I'll see if I can find it for you. I don't think you are going to have much luck finding just the lid if it's the flip style (that's what mine had, oops maybe I should have kept it). There is a thread about replacing the fill inlet and there was someone selling the vintage filler inlets back in Oct. vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/1263/install-new-fresh-water-tank

Are you talking about the old pot metal fills? Please take a photo of the fill. There are different lids to fit different brands.

Aw Susie! How could you? A mortal sin to throw those away. Actually I just about did the same thing with some of my stuff until a friend stopped me. im replacing the tank with a low volume set up under the sink, I just wanted to keep the original look on the outside, plus don't want a hole to patch!

Yes Vikx it's the pot metal fill, I'm trying to figure out how to post a photo out of my iPad library.

I almost said if anyone can find it, LadyW can. Mine was that kind but it was plastic. One of the few things not original on mine. That style looks good, a little sleeker than the screw on kind; the screw on kind gives you a good seal.

Oh fantastic Lady W, thanks, I've put it on my watch list. It has 3 days left on auction so I'll be watching it and bid on Saturday.

Ann, don't use the insert button. Just copy IMG from Photobucket and "paste" in your post...
