Thanks. Yes it was B24. I knew it was Bingo. I need to start keeping a log of the campgrounds and sites that I stay in. Glad you had fun at Tybee. I looked for you in some of the pics I saw posted else where. We need to shoot for that one next year. I'll definitely bring my guitar to Hiawassee. Cold here today in the wind. Ready for sunshine and warm weather.

My trip south just got cancelled.. sigh. Oh well, the trailer is not ready anyway, so I will live vicariously through you all for another year, and then when it is finished.. watch out! Lady Wendolyn is hitting the road!

Just signed up! Booked two sites one for me and one for my friend. Site A1 and A3. I will be in a 1973 Shasta 1400 and my friend will be rolling in a 67 Aristocrat! Super excited! See yall in August!

I think the current trailer count is 24. The campground would like all rally reservations to be made by May 31. They will open to the public after that. Hope y'all can come!

Hey ya'll, I just called and left them a message... I'm wait'in for 'em to call me back. Looks like we'll be away from operation center but hopefully we get somewhere.  We are in! A22.. If I remember correctly that spot kinda slants so I better bring extra donage! Someone from the crew has taken A21.. who got it? And she told me she had A23 still left. I don't know how many more she has paired up for our group so get busy and come on down, or up.. |

Glad you can make it Pathfinder! A 1976 Argosy is reserved at A21. The sites I know of that have been reserved with vintage trailers are:
C2-17
A1-7
A21-22

I called and cancelled our reservation. We most likely wouldn't make it and I wanted to free up the site. I may not be back in the country. A long story.
We sold our 1962 Compact (minutes after we listed it) and our 1962 Forester is sort of a work in progress so maybe it's all for the best. There is always next year.

I hate that you are not going to make it down NCCamper.. That paint job and your post about it are the BOMB! I do hope to meet you on the trail some time. It would be good for us to try for a North Carolina Rally mid state perhaps. And now we are three days out and this adventure has taking on a new life of it's own. There are going to be a ton of Trailers boys and girls and a wide variety of styles and years. The weather looks perfect.(No AC Reqrd..lol) A few of the people from the Tybee Island gig are making it in as well and there were quite a few classics I look forward to seeing again. I do trust to see more than a few of you there.. Peace and safe travels! |
