Hey Ken, Your Shasta is from Pennsylvania and born in 1968. What model do you have? Compact, perhaps?

Your Shasta 1500 was born in Pennsylvania in 1968.

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie and one step closer I hope of owning a lil Shasta Compact. Can anyone tell me what year and where this Shasta was manufactured and any history on it if able. The VIN# is S34067.
Any help is gladly appreciated. I'd like know at least that info before I decide to buy it.

My friend just bought a late 50's shasta Airflyte in Tennessee and I guess it originally came from Georgia with a vin # V16079 it has the jalousies slat window in the front so we are thinking it is a 1961 but would love to find out what year it is. We know Hehr windows were installed till 1960 so not sure.

Yup, looks like a '59-'64 and Ross pinpoints it as a '64. I think '65 was when the shape changed.

I have a shasta compact vin# V 20595 from what I can gather and read it is a second generation I think it may be a1966 what is odd is across the back u can see where there was a decal " Tag-a-long jr " it has the red orange swish on the side
