Does anyone offer a replacement for the holder that holds the screen door to entry door? At least I think that's what it is. I have a nylon piece that sticks out of the screen so or and a screw hole in the main door right at it.

I use two magnets...one on the metal part of the handle assembly (it is metal so it sticks). A second magnet taped to the screen door frame (taped because it's aluminum). Line em up right and the magnets hold the screen door to the entry door.

A hook works well also. Magnets work but wind can slam that screen door shut.

VTS offers a "very nice" reproduction stainless door catch to hold the door to the trailer.
They also have a chromed "Rooster Catch" to hold the screen door to the outside door. Since it's just chromed steel, it does show rust.

This is the VTS one : www.vintagetrailersupply.com/Roller_Catch_p/vts-390.htmThis is the one that holds the door closed when you're using it? Right? I need the one that holds the screen to the door when your not using the screen. My door has a little knob looking thing sticking out of it. I may have to use a hook, like old fashioned house screen doors used but I sure would like to see what used to be there.

Susie, I'm looking for what you are I think. I got the VTS screen door holder that holds the screen in place when closed and acts as a stop to keep it from closing too far. It works great. I think I'm left wit what you are to hold the two together and make them both open when you open the main door. My piece is attached to the screen door and looks like a knob too

That's what I'm looking for. I'll be out of down next week but when I get back, my door is my next project. There's really no reason to put that piece back in it if I don't have anything for it to attach to.

I have this weird picture in my mind like it goes in a rubber stopper. Or a u-shaped flexible piece of metal, like cabinet door catches.

That's what I'm thinking. That one doesn't say what size it is. Scroll down to the third one. That one might work, too.

The third one down is a little big for that, that one is to hold the main door to the outside trailer metal

If I can remember I'll post a couple of photos tomorrow. This is to latch the screen door to the main door to so that both stay open correct?
