We made some upgrade to recently purchased Fantastic Fan. Fan portion is perfects, but the light just on and off. We would like adjustable lights especially with low light the 12V battery will last longer. So at full brightness the light draw 12V 0.65A Middle around 0.2A And when the light used as a night lights (the lowest) 0.03A We used a DC-DC step down board and 10 Kohm adjustable resistor. I tested the board and it didn't heat up at all, so it safe to glue with glue-gun.
We don't have the knob yet but it can easily adjusted by fingers.
Tested fan and lights works great!

Some updates. Tires are with a good thread, but sides are cracked by age.
Harbor Freight tool worked perfectly! Just applied some soapy water.
Rims where rusty so we sanded them and used rust converter.
Some primer on
Painted
Tires on and again Harbor Freght balance tool in action
25 gramm on one and 39gramm on the second tire
Got a ride on freeway up to 70 MPH and no shakes. Thank you Harbor Freght!

Today we started with installation of this 6000 BTU heat pump mini split. After long research this brand is the best fit in our application. First with a small inverter generator and later with all solar.
It has only 28 inch wide indoor unit
The back right side would be a good place.
Something like that
I know the clearance on top isn't much enough, but if later we decide to install the second top bed, there will be enough for it to bend back. Mini split will run on low fan setting, therefore this shouldn't be the issue.
Now we are working on making the rack for outside unit. We will upload pictures of it lately.

Today we made a little frame for mini split outdoor unit. So this unit should be placed... We have old metal rails from bed. They are next to unit
The frame will be removable and adjustable. I mean it can be moved farther back or less. And pretty simple as we need four holes 11 inch and 18 inch apart for holding outdoor unit. The bed frame metal were not easy to drill though!
Primed and painted
Tomorrow it would be attached...

Alex, Nicely done! The final touches are falling into place. You have completed a very quick restoration with innovation, resourcefulness, and determination and clearly a lot of hard work. The exterior of the trailer looks fabulous! You made it your own and saved another trailer from destruction. Way to go, man. Cheers, Rod

Thank to everyone who give me advise. Thank you to all who placed useful information on this awesome web site. It was a rare but interesting journey of repairing this 54 years old trailer.
Noe we began another step we never been before - traveling on a small traveling trailer! We have to learn about some good traveling apps and other thing.
By today, we already reach our first 1000 miles with this small but handy Scotsman in our four trips. Here are some pics.

I am totally amazed that you started taking screws out on July 11th and you're already camping in a completely rebuilt trailer 3 months later. I only wish I had your energy. Congratulations.
