Excited to have gotten back my stove and sink from IPE!! The lighting in the picture isn't very good, they are light teal. The pieces look great. How much did it cost?
The lights in my photo are wedding cake. I've seen your lights before...more of a tower. VTS doesn't carry them.
Thanks for the response nccamper I have not seen anything similar to what was original so I'm looking for the closest looking alternative I can find. Your lights look very nice. The picture kind of makes it appear that the cake top corners are radius? or are they 90 degree like the originals? I had the three pieces you see here and 3 additional stove top grates from Petals done. Total cost including shipping was $496. It is a very deep sink and I believe it was calculated on the surface area, and the grates were $32 each. They could not do the grates for Frankie because they said they are made of aluminum.

CorvettCrzy ,
They are exactly like the originals. The back plates are very solid. I've used them on 3 campers and never had a problem.
A couple of inset options from vintagecamper.com
This one is like our 1962 Foreste Taillights:

Oh my land, you guys, I finally tackled my 12V wiring! Honestly it's been a good 2 years that I've been talking about it (yes, I'm on year 5 of my total rebuild)... it was SO scary to me. So last night, I sat on my kitchen floor in my pajamas with a small glass of wine for courage, and surrounded by all of my "stuff" (my new strippers/crimpers, a heat gun, no less than a gazillion different types and sizes of ends and connectors, and miles of wire in all gauges, and a 25' roll of conduit, etc.) and I practiced, practiced, practiced until I was confident with making nice clean and tidy ends. Then I made my wire loom and pulled it through my conduit. Tonight I'll attach it to the underside of my camper, and start making all of my ground locations and placing all of my ends for my lights. So exciting!! I made THE biggest deal about the 12V wiring, but honestly once I finally dove in, I like it! Thanks to EVERYONE who chimed in on my post, and most of all vikx who is the most patient person in the world!

Vintage trailer supply.
They are often out of stock on the tail-lites but they get them in every month or so. I put myself on the notification list and they let me know when a shipment arrives.
The side marker lights are an excellent quality LED. What does the profile look like, VTS doesn't have a picture. They look like they're cake style? This is what I have to replace. 2017-09-08_11-47-20 by Corvett crzy, on Flickr The stick out about 2". Those on VTS are wedding cake style. They look and work great. Get the single bulb ones. They are the easiest to wire up.

The side marker lights are an excellent quality LED. Those lights rock! They are so bright, that I turn them on during the day in heavy traffic and you can still see them. For some reason people don't see an eight foot tall trailer that is 80" wide. So, I need all the help I can get. Cheers, Rod

New Porcelain by Corvett crzy, on Flickr Took panels for the RV fridge I picked to the Powder coater along with the wheels to match. Is “light teal” what they call that color if someone wants to get theirs done? They look like a vintage turquoise to ke. Really nice

Today I started stripping the wood on my trailer. This decision came after doing lots of research and having some discussion with some guys who specialized in mid century finishes. Turns out my finish was either a clear shellac with a Champaign whitish color toner, or a clear varnish of some other kind with the same type of Champaign toner. So after much contemplation and realizing that amber shellac will not necessarily look the best next to mahogany doors, (too much orange) I have decided to strip the old finish off and clear coat both the old and new finish. One of the mid century furniture guys told me that the worst choice I could make would be to try to stain it. He said birch is notorious for taking stain unevenly. He did suggest I might want to take a go at using a whitish toner, ... hmm I can see that ending in disaster and having to start over with the stripper. I tried to find a brand that has a low impact in terms of killing me, but I’m still wearing my respirator and eye protection. So I have decided that since the mahogany doors are the feature in my trailer and the walls are to set them off, I’m simply going to strip the birch and then sand and finish both the old and new with a clear finish. This will be the closest I can get to the original almost unfinished birch look it had. Clear Shellac or Polyurethane??I’m not sure on that yet. I’ve noticed that Flytecamp seems to simply spray everything in their trailers with polyurethane or something similar. My goal is that it’s shiny, and easy to scrub with a cloth. Anyone have any reason why shellac would be superior if I’m not adding color?

I think shellac is easier to repair but doesn't hold up well when wet. Poly yellows slightly over time. On boats they use spar urethane because it is not as rigid as poly. That's what I used on our Forester. The downside, it takes a loooooog time to dry. But I like the look.

I bought a new cordless Dewalt Router to do the counter top on my Airflyte and I love it. Tomorrow I hope to finish repairing fascia board on our house and get back to my project camper.

In my picture it looks more like their "seafoam green" but it's just a camera thing. I was having a hard time deciding on color, so I sent him a fabric swatch and he sent me a picture back with the swatch and samples of both colors. I was much more confident about which to choose. Waiting now to get back my fridge panels and wheels from the powdercoater! Any day.

I’m planning a van conversion and since I went red on my trailer I’m thinking turquoise on the van. It’s good to see it and have someone confirm the color. You must be working on a new trailer? I thought yours was yellow and purple ..

He's an old skydiver friend of mine. He did all of our skydiving club's apperal. He did this from an old photo I found. I will be posting his info on my website. Here it is in the mean time. Kelly Grebb. Double Dog Designs. doubledogdesign58@gmail.com I think he can make vinyl emblems up to 36 inches wide. I'm very close to installing metal. Can't wait to see it with the emblem on it.

You are the second person who has recommended spar urethane. Do you by any chance have a photo of the forester that I can see.
