Gary, Wow! Nice work.. In the past my best line or explanation for a great passion in sailing was "The boats are just so darn sexy". Your craftsmanship screams maritime here and it is awesome. She looks like the inside of a hundred thousand dollar sloop! SWEET! I think that it is the best interior that I have ever seen, to my taste of course. There was another cat from the old site that had a light green Astrodome that had a Holly & Sole floor in it. It was very nice as well. Thanks for sharing and please don't take your album down until I take some more notes. I gotta get a bigger shop!

Too funny! :DAt 51 I guess my wife and I have fallin in on the "Camper Crowd" as well. Mind you we still overnight in my Clip3 backpacking tent once in a while if attending some music festivals. You really are not camping then anyway. It's more like a sleep over and your surrounded by others. We take a coffee kit and a small stove in. That, a small cooler and few snacks and we are good to go. Those self-inflating ridgerest pads are getting thinner and thinner though (Lol) Putting you pants on why rolling around on your back!

Hi pathfinder.. Do you start with one grade and progress to sayy OOOO steel wool? Getting ready to do mine. Thanks!! THE LAST GO ROUND I HAD PICKED UP A "PACK OF THREE" IN THE AUTO ZONE. IT WAS JUST LISTED " HEAVY, MEDIUM AND FINE" ALL IN ONE PACK. I WAS LOOKING FOR THE THE DOUBLE "O" DESIGNATION BUT COULD NOT FIND THEM. I WOULD SAY I STARTED WITH A "MEDIUM" AND FINISH OF WITH A "FINE" GRADE. I USED THE HEAVIER GRAD ON PROBLEM STAINS OR ROUGH SPOTS. YOU CAN'T REALLY DAMAGE THE FINISH, JUST START SLOW AND WORK UP.. GOOD LUCK, I REALLY THINK THAT YOU WILL BE PLEASE WITH THE RESULTS.

Turpinetine and steel wool. Before this discovery I use a fairly fine steel brisel brush on my drill one time when my rear window was out. UGH! I was not happy with the results. However, different brushes might give you better results like those from Bricklayer. If I ever take it out again I am going to have to spend a couple of hours with the steel wool on it. Ross turned me onto the Steel Wool proccess. Man, it works like a charm. Your hand might get a cramp or two, but you can take the finish to almost mirror. I wipe it down with some hot soapy water when I done and BAM!!! It's sweet.

Here are two of my favorites. Potatoes are always good with grilled meat. Hot bread? Hot bread goes with anything and everything and in the summer shade the dough will rise so high you'll thnk that the Yeast is "Mutant"! You can reduce the bread recipe in half.. no problemo.. Dutch Oven Potatoes
Ingredients • 1 lb. bacon, diced • 2 onions, diced • 2 green peppers, diced • 12 med potatoes, red pontiac, peeled and sliced dollar size • 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese • 1/4 lb. swiss cheese • salt and pepper • mushrooms, optional Fry bacon in Dutch Oven. Add onions, peppers (and mushrooms) and saute. Pour part of the bacon grease off and add potatos. Add salt, pepper and seasoning to taste. Mix together, but don't stir while cooking. Put 8 briquettes under the oven and 14 on the lid. This will allow all the potatoes to cook uniformly without stirring. Cook approx. 45 minutes. Check with fork - when done, grate the cheese together and sprinkle evenly over the top of the potatoes and replace the hot lid. The cheese will melt down through the potatoes and they are ready to eat. Monkey Bread
Ingredients • 2 c. water (real warm) • 1/2 c. sugar • 1 T. salt • 1 T. yeast • 6 c. flour • 1/4 c. oil • 2 large eggs (beaten) • 1/4 lb. butter Mix 2 cups real warm water, ½ cup sugar, 1 tablespoon salt, and 1 tablespoon yeast. Let set until bubbly. Add 2 large beaten eggs and 3 cups flour, stir-do not beat. Add ¼ cup oil and 3 cups more flour. Dough will be sticky; cover and let raise until double in bulk. Roll dough out on a floured surface to ½ inch thickness. Cut into 2 ½ inch circles. Melt 1/4 pound of butter in a deep 14" Dutch oven. Do not let butter get too hot. Dip circles of dough in butter, coating both sides. Lay circles of dough on inside edge of Dutch oven, overlapping approximately one third. Place the second layer of dough circles like shingles inside the first ring. Cook with 11 briquets on the bottom of each oven and 15-20 briquets placed around the outer rim of each lid. Bake for about 25 minutes. Remove the ovens from the bottom briquets and finish cooking with top heat only for approximately 10-15 minutes more. When finished remove from Dutch oven and serve warm. VariationsGarlic Parmesan Monkey -- Bread Follow above recipe adding ½ teaspoon garlic power to the melted butter in the Dutch oven. After circles of dough are placed in the Dutch oven sprinkle the top with ¾ cup Parmesan cheese. Sesame Seed Monkey -- Bread Follow the above recipe adding 1 tablespoon sesame seeds to the melted butter in the Dutch Oven. After circles of dough are placed in the Dutch oven sprinkle the top with 1 tablespoon sesame seeds.
