Hey Ladies and Germs...My LoFlyte is in full-action, and just finishing up some loose ends...I just installed some cabinet catchers, to replace the old, non OEM plastic ones that finally broke. I bought the replica catchers from vintagetrailer. My main question is this...Are the cabinet doors suppose to butt up against the cabinet itself (to make it completely flush), or do they stick out 'just a bit'...I'm wondering how they were installed from the factory....Thanks for all, or any info!
Let's make a STICKY ON SHASTA CABINETS!

measure your cabinet opening and measure your door opening. compare the two. this will dictate how your door will fit.

I'm not a Shasta person, but I've never seen a gap between the doors and the cabinet if they are shut properly. And I'd think you wouldn't want one, it would look very messy for one thing, and make it easier for the catches to fail if things fall against the doors during travel I'd think.

great, thanks for this info people...Looks like I will have to re-mount the 'catchers' so that the doors close the gap I'm seeing...maybe I should take a few pics to properly convey what I'm seeing on my end? The doors do indeed latch 'closed', but because of the design of the inset cabinet, the doors stick out just a tad.

If you're still unsure you have the right answer, then pictures really is best so we can see what you have going on.

yeah, I will get some pics up soon...and they do not look like the Loflyte cabinets I saw above (which look more like standard cabinets)...
