Alhoa Aloha... Yep just finished that one a few months ago. Just started a 59 so watch for that one. The Rock Guards are Bob Ross' work. He does excellent metal work. Any tips on creating a rock guard setup from scratch? My camper did not have one, although there is a separate piece above the front window that has an awning rail on it. Not sure if that is how the rock guards attach, or if that is just for an awning...? Anyway, i'd like to build a rock guard, something like the one you posted, but I'm not sure where to start.

It's just aluminum angle metal held together in the corners with L brackets and screwed together with sheet metal screws. Installing the metal requires a hand brake. It's not easy to explain here. I may do a video on that some day. You can also just go find a used one at a place that sells used trailer parts. There are places that disassemble trailers and sell the parts. If you can find a place like that they will have a whole isle of awnings to choose from and they will have the hardware too. Then just take the middle panels out and replace with aluminum and polish.
