I stand corrected and Chris (Trailertrasher) has seen and worked with every window known to man. The photos made it look pretty much like a window I am working on now but I'm glad there was someone here to correct me. I don't know everything that's for sure.
Chris... welcome to our little asylum. Nice to see you here.
Folks, this is the man who has all the windows and many other parts for sale that you see listed on my website. Meet "Trailertrasher". Or Chris if you will.
See his kingdom of trailer parts in the video below.

I have found the correct window opening device but there is a problem, one of the new crank handles will not work. The spline shaft is the same diameter on both window crank devices but the hole in 1 crank is .005" too small for the shaft so 1 crank handle will not go on the shaft. I am a machinist pin gauges show the spline hole of 1 crank .260" diameter the other crank .265". The .260" crank will not fit a .265" shaft. I don't have a .265 reamer so I can not fix it myself. I tried to file it with a jewelers file but zinc is strange stuff it does not like to be filed and working in a blind hole will take a very long time probably 5 or 6 hours. I will see if the seller will send me a replacement crank handle. The picture in the photo of the crank window device shows plastic sliders on the tip of the arms but both came with no sliders. It wont work with no slicers. I should have bought this item on ebay $2 cheaper for the whole thing and $1 less postage, already assembled with handles, and it is all there including the sliders.

I made rollers in my lathe to fit the ends if these rods. I tested them and they work perfect. I was lucky to find 1 screen clip on the window frame so I can duplicate it to make as many as I need. I can see where the screen clips use to be in the past. I made new clips and installed the screen. I used a razor knife to cut a slot in the screen for the window opener arms to slide through and connect the moving window. I trashed the vintage window screws I don't have a tool to tighten those weird screws with. Philip head screws work good. Window cranks are attached and window is tested. It works perfect.

That's great Gary. Being a machinist will help a lot with your project.
