Yes, Larry i sent them to you before to get your insight on how to proceed with the repairs. How are you doing? LOL I knew I had seen that beauty before. I'm doing fine Willie. I have the next operation on the eye on November 6th and then I should be done with it. Can't wait to get back to a normal life style. What ever that was....

I love mysteries :-) and the fact that this trailer might be older than first thought. I still dislike all those nails that I had to remove though. I had an opportunity to take a few photos of some bits and bites. This handle, door lock and plate light with the bulb still in it behind glass :-) all came from Theodore Bargman out of Detroit. I also took photos of wiring and did find that the cable was woven but seemed to have a clear protective coatiing. Wheel wells were wooden.

Thanks vikx :-) hope to get back the baby tomorrow. I have had another visit with Mum and my brother. i would like to report my excitement on the attempt of getting rid of rust. my brother has been dropping his rusty car parts in a vat of molasses and water....the result are stupendous :-) i am hoping to take the leaf springs off and soak the in this solution. Racking y brain on the larger parts. Hubby says sand blast,I am looking forward to molasses :-)

halfpine I have done some old car parts using the electrolysis treatment. It works awesome on rusty steel parts. DO NOT use it on aluminum. Lots of videos on youtube how to do it.
Did you find the trailer wrecking yard last week?

Finding the bone yard will have to be another day there was no time. The molasses mixture works well , takes a few days of soaking depending on the level of rust. Unfortunately I am having trouble finding it. My brother picked his up a TSE in Niagara. I find it funny I can't get it here maybe if I head towards Owen Sound I'll find some. I will check out the electrolysis method on youtube :-) my update is I am one bent bolt and washer from getting the floor off the frame, tomorrow it will be cut off. Popped hub caps off and bummed to say rust ate through a spot on one of them. I have piled all I will be keeping for templates , I expect them to be covered in snow in about a month :-(

Just introduced myself in the newbie forum. I just bought a 1950's? Silver Queen built by H. B. McGinnis of Peterboro Ontario. All varnished plywood with an actual old school icebox. It's in amazing original shape. I can send pics if you like.
Thanks!
