Im planning on upgrading the Airflyte to 30A, I understand how to do all the electrical part because we did it to the compact. But the compact had a smaller round inlet. The airflyte has a rectangle one the size of a normal outlet. The hole will be too big for the new inlet im planning on installing. So I will need some kind of back plate. Has anyone else ran into this problem? 'what did you end up using?

Turn the old inlet into a duplex outlet and make a new hole for the 30 amp inlet. Be sure to install a backer to support the inlet.
