Hello all, I recently acquired a vintage camper (my first) and I am having a hard time trying to find out what it is exactly. I have looked all over the frame and tounge and cannot find any sort of VIN or identification on it at all. Can anyone help me?

Similar to a Scotsman or possibly Metzendorf? Very cute and odd little trailer. Congrats and welcome!

It was sitting outside an elderly couple's house where I was helping on a call for the fire department. I thought it was a very unique design so I asked them if they would be interested in selling it. They said if I clean it out for them I could have it, so I did.

Now that's my kind of Trailer Find! Good job and welcome to the board Flint... Just gonna call you Flint for short so I don't have to type all that first part in. My fingers hurt.

Flint works for me. That's what everyone around the station calls me. I'm pretty excited about getting to work on it. My 7 year old son is also excited about helping and my father, who is also looking to get into the vintage trailer crowd, is also excited about helping. Going to be a lot of fun for the whole family.

It's going to be a fantastic family project. Make sure to check out the Tool section in this forum. There are a few tools that will enhance the job and they aren't very expensive. You can get most from Harbor Freight. Sometimes I think they should be paying me. LOL...
