Please don't misunderstand, I do want the character of the trailer to remain but that doesn't mean that there won't be a little tweaking here and there. A microwave in a cabinet? Maybe. A tv in a corner? Doubtful on the tv but maybe. I actually don't know since I have yet to stay in one. Again, I'm not saying things won't change some to suit my needs in the end but to begin with I'm leaning toward basic/original but in working condition. Much like my long distance hikes -- all is subject to change with each step forward! Now, that's my idea; who really knows what my Handy-Andy man has decided and done! (Well, I do know that he rebuilt the bed with 3/4" plywood vice the 1/2" that was there (or whatever measurements) "to make it stronger". <sigh>

Oh, I WILL have a TV. Pondered where it was going last night. But that's an addition, not a modification. I even have a TV in my teardrop. It's a MUST, however, I rarely have time or energy to use it when I'm camping.
I also want a/c, which will require modification. I don't want the stove/oven and icebox, but I feel strongly that they need to stay with it. I figure I can store pots and pans in the oven.

The Layton turns out not to have a title after all. Supposedly the current owner was given the trailer by someone because he seemed to like them having another -- the one his parents used to live in - so he took it. His parents' is titled. I don't know what that one is but he did say he wasn't interested in selling it. As for the Layton, he says he wouldn't mind selling it since he doesn't really get down there to fish anymore. It's about 20 miles from where he lives! Says it's in "really good condition." I figured what the heck, might as well take a look inside because I can. We have an appointment to meet on the 23rd. It'll be fun if nothing else. Now that you guys and gals have explained the lack of a wheel well what can you tell me about the bumper. It seems really extended out. Almost like the box was set atop a different frame. Of course I don't have the foggiest; just saying what it looks like to me. Thoughts?
Oops! No pic uploaded. Will upload this evening.

Thanks Cowcharge & SusieQ. I threw those up right before running out to a meeting. Now I'm back and on an anticipated six hour conference call so I have plenty of time to fix my screw ups. Luckily I have you guys and gals and instead I can just read, study and figure out how to continue watching Mobiltec's videos, listen to and read the slides for the conference. I can't say for absolute but I'm betting Mobiltec wins out! Thanks again for your help.
