Well.. we got the same problem..I want to work on the 59,but the Airflyte is tall.We have 7 foot doors on our garage too.Our inner ceilings in the shop are 12.5 ft. tall.I do have wheel dollies that will lower the whole shasta by 12 inches by removing the wheels and tires and placing the hubs into the dollies....Our winters are cold, lots of snow and HARSH.I do have indoor storage(my wife works at a place) but no access to work on it over the winter or heat.(kinda need that) I am gonna give it a second look!. Daisy Duke looks on for encouragement. Same problem here ... Had a Compact. Removed axle and springs, put trailer frame on wheel skates, removed vent, and _just_ made it under a 7' door. No chance with the Airflyte. It's taller. Contacted a contractor about changing the garage door to an 8' door - no go. Garage roof not tall enough. Good luck! And let me know if you discover some magic!!

As I've said before, we were able to get the Compact in the garage by sliding it in on the axle. Now that we have a 59 Airflyte we are finally making the garage door higher so she'll go in for the winter. We have a 3-car garage so will do the single stall only. Monday the guy will come to do it for only $800, which includes a new garage door. No more storage fees!
