All I got was a nasty old set of curtains. That's it.

I found a few more things once I got mine home and started cleaning it out. A TLC cassette tape (90's), a little boy's school pic from 1992, a toaster (too bad it wasn't a ham), dirty nasty curtains with a donkey pin, a whet stone, an empty shave kit or makeup bag, but the BEST was a Dear Jane letter! image by susieqilvu, on Flickr image by susieqilvu, on Flickr Page 1, page 2 is on the back.

what I found in my latest was neither small or a treasure in my opinion but under the bed was an old car motor.

yeah, have to wonder if someone in the past is curious to where they left those heads they were working on.

Reminds me of the time I bought a little house to flip. The ATTIC was full of car parts, including an engine block... oh, and grow lights and a garden...

Reminds me of the time I bought a little house to flip. The ATTIC was full of car parts, including an engine block... oh, and grow lights and a garden... Oh I've been in the remodeling business for quite some time and the things I used to find in attics and behind stuff and down in basements.... I once found a box full of Life Magazines from the early 40s. Wartime.... They were in perfect shape. Another time I found an envelope with $3000 in cash inside. I gave it to the owner who gave me a $100 tip. He had lost it behind his old 50s metal desk and his wife had almost divorced him over it. Seems he had a gambling problem at one time. His wife thought he had lost it at the track and that he was lying about the money. He said I saved his marriage.

We have as of yet to start cleaning out the unbelievably amount of crap out of our old Shasta but just a preliminary scan there seems to be a massive amount of computer cables,a ancient jar of applesauce and a poor deceased box turtle in a aquarium Danny

What a great name. My son keeps a turtle shell that he found in the woods on his bookcase next to his cremated cat's ashes, the rattlesnake rattle, ... etc. At first I thought the turtle shell was creepy (like the ashes aren't) but then I saw the beauty in it.
EDIT: Well that didn't make sense. Sorry, internet dropped me in the middle of it twice and I rewrote it. My son didn't find the shell in the woods on his bookcase. He found it in the woods and he keeps on his bookcase.
