Hi all- total newbie here! I just started taking apart my Shasta. Started a blog to record the process. I have not given her a name yet- so for now she is Kaffi's Kamper. myshastareno.blogspot.com/

As rot goes, it's not bad. To link a key image to the post (with a mac) Hold the Control button down while you click anywhere on the photo with the mouse and then select "copy image location" from the options shown. Then click the insert image button above and paste the location info in and hit "insert image". Hopefully that makes sense.

I am curious to know what year the trailer is titled as being? The white appliances were more commonly used in the 1965-67-new-model-toaster era. These tears at the corners are typical, and are reparable. It's tough because you are dealing with the weight, flex, and unruliness of the entire length of the side when dealing with these skins, but can be done. Cudos for the volume of photos you are taking. Remember to take as you go. It's easy to make progress and not think to take them. Even the picky little things...in fact, ESPECIALLY the picky little things! Even if you don't post them online, make sure you keep them safely tucked away somewhere for your reference. (Think removable media, like an SD card...I lost a whole lot of photos of my teardown on a portable hard drive that got dropped off a shelf.) It's also fun to have them to share your experience with the next person to come along trying to undertake this.

By the way, my 57 Shasta 1500s had white Princess stoves. The Deluxe stove was Brown.
