I was at our local rally yesterday. Open house was from 1-4. Half the trailers were locked and no one there. It was an hour drive from the city and I found that disappointing. A few were left with the door open and no one there. Rather trusting of those people, but perhaps not that wise.

I've been going to rallies for a very long time now and lately it seems that many of them are not what I'm used to. Generally open house is all day on Saturday and many of them require that the owner be present and the trailer be open for people to view the inside. That's what I'm used to. Seems to be a lot of lazy people showing their trailers now. They aren't there and the place is locked up. Lot's of painted trailers also which I do not consider restored... Most 50s trailers did not come from the factory painted on the inside. So they have not been "restored".... |
