anyone experience the death of their old Univolt? Mine may have died instantly, not sure if that is normal or do they fade away? Seriously I thought I had a blown fuse, but can't find any fuses other than in the panel connected to the Univolt. I replaced all of them, and still dont have 12v POWER. Since my wife accidently turned a ceiling light switch backwards, and the power went out I figured it to be a fuse.
ALso I have a box of spares that came with the Airstream, and there are big fat 50amp Buss fuses in it. Where in the heck would they go? My fuse panel has 40 amp smaller tube Buss types. Gotta get back out and use a multi meter on the trailer....

Univolts make very good tire blocks...
I worked on a 64 Bambi II and that Univolt had breakers inside the unit. I believe that may have been one of the first Univolts and was known to have issues. Wiring was screwy in the trailer as well; some of the wiring appeared to be 110 but was actually powering some 12 volt items. Crazy to figure it all out.
I have photos, not sure they'll help. PM me.

I found there were no fuses in the Univolt.I put a multi meter on it and further at the fuse panel. No 12v output. Was hoping to just replace a fuse. Now I will need a replacement converter. SO it goes... Seem to be quite a few in the low 100 dollars range new.
