Two thumbs up !! Nicely done coldham.
Not that my opinion counts for much, but for most trailers, I much prefer the raw oxidized aluminum over polished, especially in a campground.

Wow! I am especially interested because I have a '56 Terry and I am studying your every step because I am facing a total teardown to address current and former water damage. Did you not have a gravity-fed water tank, enclosed in paneling and directly attached the the upper cupboard to the left of the kitchen, or did you get rid of it? I have found no specs nor factory photographs so I go by what I see in other Terry owner trailers. I do not have a lower side entry storage door, my entire lower rear trailer lowers like a tailgate. Thanks so much for journaling your rebuild, and for sharing your victorious ending!

There is a hole in the outer panel for filling (though not in the skin) and a hole in the counter below. I'm sure it was a gravity feed sink option that a PO didn't buy. Am considering just putting in a 5 gallon water jug with a bulkhead connector on the bottom.

Yes! I can hear the aluminum liner when I knock on the outer box. Outside I have a pipe coming out of the skin, with a gas cap kind of lid. It is completely at the top of the roof line. There is a small bit of water damage at the corner of the cabinet box, so I have been reluctant to put even a little water in to try it out until I get the paneling removed to look for a leak. Thanks for sharing, I rarely find information about them.

My 54 had a pump sink faucet with a tank under the street side front bench. It also has city water faucet and exterior city hook up that dangled underneath. These are on the list of things left to finish. There was no evidence of it ever having anything gravity fed. The pump on mine still works and that will likely be my main water supply.
I want to thank this community for the original inspiration for this project, the education during the project and the motivation to actually finish it. I couldn't have gotten this far without everyone's help. Thanks to all the members and especially the moderators.

Hey coldham. I bought a 1954 Terry Trailer for $700 in 2014, and am just now getting around to working on it. I found your rebuild on this forum sometime in 2015, and followed you off and on, and couldn't wait to get to work on mine - with the thought of using your posts to influence my project. Like you, I will have to do a complete tear-down and rebuild. I came back to this forum only to find that your photos are all unavailable... and I think it has to do with your photobucket subscription. Any chance of somehow making your photos available on this forum again? That would be invaluable to me! Thanks! And I never got to see your finished project... would love to!
Mike

Welcome Papamike 95,
Photobucket really screwed things up. I'm hoping Coldham will replace the photos. The cost at P***bucket is $400 per year, so none of us are really happy about that...
I have a 54 Terry as well. It was a druggie wagon and RED everywhere, even the window glass. Hang here with us, we're willing to help.
