I have a 1954 Shasta and wonder if there are any of your success stories about adding a toilet or shower or both it's pretty small confines but it should be interesting seeing pictures or getting feedback thank you

I was going to add a toilet into my last 13 ft Glendale. I was planning to take the closet area, make it bigger and remove the furnace. I ended up getting a bigger trailer and selling that one before I got to that point, but if I was doing it again I would probably just add a port a potty called "curve" in the same size space. With the wheel wells it's a bit hard to find enough space to add a toilet on the small trailers.

In a 54 Shasta would be difficult to add a wet bath. Most had the front dinette/rear bed config and it's hard to change that structurally. A later Compact is fairly easy to add a tiny bath compartment, check out member Hamlet's build.
If your 54 is in any kind of fair condition, it would probably be better to keep the original floor plan. The worth of the 54 will be greatly lowered if you change it. If you must have a bathroom, consider a bigger trailer.
For now, have a great time rebuilding your little Shasta.
