The little PB box of death says 100%... maybe they only zapped those of us that linked a certain amount of pictures? I didn't read deep enough to know that answer, all I know for sure is that I am removing 100% of my photos and hosting somewhere else.

Each photo lingering there costs them server space. 2. Every email they send, label it spam. 3. Never order photos from them.

I'm guessing this one will get pulled back, but by then we need to make sure their company is on it's way to bankruptcy.

Testing, check 1-2-3 mel , "Cabana" by Dometic. It is really supposed to fit a T@G or teardrop, doesn't fit exactly with the flat-top Shasta, but love the way it converts.

Still having connection problems, what do you expect from an internet provider that only charges $80 a month??!! It is a pain trying to do all this photo editing on the phone...

I was trying to use a service that I have been on before. The photos seem to have vanished again. I can see this is going to be a process.

Hi Friends, Yes, I just found this out and was going to post. I was going to update my restoration thread. THIS IS DEVASTATING for those of us who posted so many photos out there for pride and sharing to contribute to our hobby. I can only think of RinTin's restoration thread which I have used as a how-to on doing trailer restoration. How long will the images in his thread be visible? At least I have all my own photos on my computer. I could move photos around to other hosts, HOWEVER, I don't have the time to do this. Unfortunately, if Photobucket had made it about $10 a month, I might have considered it to save the easy access to my photos in my restoration thread and all the other threads in which I shared images. Angering. Dan had suggested doing a right click on the PB box of death to view the image. That no longer works, at least it didn't for me. I just see the PB box of death on photobucket, also. I cannot view my images even when logged in or when logged out of Phonybucket. Vix, is there any way we can have the edit ability to go back into threads where we posted with pix and delete the old photo and insert the same photo from a new host site? For example, on RYT, we can go in and edit our threads any time we want. We aren't governed by the 3 day rule like here at VTT. Rod

This from their website.
What Users Are Affected By The Changes To Our 3rd Party Hosting Policies?
Moving forward, new and legacy free account users will NOT have third party hosting available.
If you were a Plus Account subscriber in good standing as of June 1, 2017, you will continue to have all the privileges you have enjoyed including 3rd Party Hosting until December 31, 2018 as long as you maintain your subscription.
Non Plus 500 Account subscribers that purchased after June 1, 2017 will not have access to 3rd Party Hosting.
This might explain why RinTin's Aloha Restoration thread still has images visible. I know he pays a little every month, but not sure what level he is at.

Interesting, a few days ago PB posted a notice of their terms reinforcing their position that only the highest tier accounts had 3rd party hosting privileges. So now they are giving lower tier accounts a grace period to comply? What a crock of BS. As others have said, they should of had the decency to give all their users a grace period in the first place. With the huge negative fallout resulting from their knee jerk move, they obviously know if they reinforced their policy across the board and handcuffed their paying customers in the same manner, their sleazeball outfit would surely be done for, which it probably is now anyways.
My understanding is their biggest gripe was users using PB's free services to host images that were in turn hot-linked to business and advertising sites for profit. This I can understand. But their solution is to point a gun at all their users heads and tell them to comply or die? Totally asinine. Another thing is they gave us access to the tools to make hot-linking an easy copy and paste function that any modern third grader can do. What did they think was going to happen? Well, its clear now, they don't think.
I could go on and on but that's enough ranting. My PB account is the lowest tier paid account, so it looks like I have been spared their wrath for now. I will keep the pics up in my threads and eventually move to another hosting site or do like mobiltec and develop my own site to host my pictures. While I expect PB to go down in flames if they don't admit their mistake and reverse their policy, I do selfishly hope for my sake they survive long enough for me to make my move before they become a university case study for one of the dumbest corporate blunders in history.
I also think that the business model of advertisers supporting free internet services will soon be a thing of the past. That goes for our beloved VTT forum. Freebies can only last until the cost of supporting them become impossible to maintain.

I really want to start sharing my build. I have started with Google photos. Is this the best option or should I use something else.

I really want to start sharing my build. I have started with Google photos. Is this the best option or should I use something else. I started off using imgur to host, but eventually wanted more control over my photos. I now keep a separate blog and can link the blog photos here to share as well. Gives me more control over the content of my rebuild, is useful for the next owner if I ever sell and is fun to share with interested folks.
